Located in exclusive Palm Cove 20 minutes north of Cairns and on the Great Barrier Reef this fabulous apartment is sited within the 5 star Grand Mercure Spa resort. The apartment is under a year old and has glorious views over the extensive swimming pool and the palm tree lined beach from its large balcony. The balcony itself is decked out with chairs and tables, the perfect setting for breakfast or after dinner drinks. Inside the apartment are 2 double bedrooms, the main has a plasma tv and en suite bathroom, the other bathroom is situated off the lounge. The kitchen is fitted out with all modern appliances and large dining table and leads into a the living room with settee and another plasma. Even though the apartment is privately owned you can check in at the hotel reception and will get all of your towels and toiletries replenished daily you also receive and unlimited supply of tea, coffee, sugar and washing powder!
Resort Hotel
The hotel itself is situated on the beach road and has the most sought after location in Palm Cove. Within the hotel you have full use of the facilities, from the huge lagoon style pool, spa's and gymnasium. You also have your own spa studios where you can relax and unwind with the extensive range of treatments. Also within the hotel you have restaraunts including the award winning Spice Marker where you receive 10% discount as a guest the Ice bar which overlooks the pool and a boutique shops.
Palm Cove
The location that is Palm Cove is ideal for relaxing on the glorious beach, strolling along the palm tree lined promenade or just enjoying the many restaurants and bars. It is also the perfect position to explore the many attractions that North Queensland has to offer - Great Barrier Reef, Mossman Gorge, Daintree Rainforest, Baron River, Port Douglas and many more.
We know the area intimately so can recommend many things to see or do or perhaps you just want to do nothing!!

out at about 10.45am we couldn't leave that beautiful little town... so peaceful and relaxing... and had brunch at the Sebel before walking along the beach in the water back to our car... we were so reluctant to say farewell to Palm Cove! The apartment is located in a great position and is spotlessly clean and with every amenity you could possibly require. We loved our stay and can't recommend the apartment or Palm Cove highly enough - a blissful holiday and we can't wait to come back for more!
