One bedroom plus loft with king beds and sleeps a maximum of 4 adults. Solar generated electricity, rain fed water supply, semi permanent creek, 1km to Cow Bay beach.

Please note : If the close proximity of birds, wildlife and insects and the thought of living without airconditioning and a hair dryer fills you with trepidation - then this retreat is NOT for you.

When visiting Cow Bay please tread lightly and respect the relatively untouched and pristine rainforest of the area.

Location

The Muse is located at Cow Bay - a 2 hour drive North of the Cairns Airport and a 1 hour drive North of Port Douglas. The drive North involves crossing the Daintree River via Car Ferry. The closest shop is a 25 minute drive to the North, the closest supermarket a 50 minute drive to the South at Mossman.

The Muse backs onto World Heritage listed National Park - the Daintree rainforest being one of the most ancient rainforest remnants in the world. It is home to thousands of plant species and is alive with a diverse selection if native fauna including the Cassowary.

The closest boat ramp is on the South side of the Daintree river with beach launching for smaller boats from Cow Bay Beach.
