Whistle Stopover B&B

Description

Whistle-Stopover is a luxury 4-1/2 star Bed & Breakfast situated alongside the famous Puffing Billy Railway track between Cockatoo and Gembrook in a mountain ash forest setting.

The train passes by the one acre property twice daily and will stop at Fielder Station to pick up or drop off guests when pre-arrangement is made, from the station it is only a one minute walk and you are back at Whistle-Stopover.

"THE COTTAGE"

Whistle-Stopover Cottage
The Whistle-Stopover Cottage is very tastefully decorated with all the trimmings you would expect from a 4-1/2 star venue. Upon entry into the cottage you will be delighted with the obvious space of the full size lounge and dining area with gas log fire, central heating and air conditioning. The lounge area features TV, Video, CD player, DVD player, board games and other toys, movies and CDs to keep the kids happy or just laze away some very relaxing hours.

The kitchen is fully equipped with duel entry and exit that caters very well for families and groups alike. The main bedroom offers a king size bed that can be divided into two large singles if required and has its own ensuite complete with luxury two person sunken spa.

A second bathroom is also located downstairs. Upstairs you will find two double size bedrooms each complete with a queen size and single bed in each room.

There is a BBQ area and verandah where you can just sit and enjoy the countless types of parrots and other wild birds or go for a swim in the pool which is also available to guests.

The cottage caters for families, groups of up to nine or for the couple who just want to spend a relaxing, romantic time away in a very serene, private atmosphere. Enjoy any of the many attractions close by including wineries, wild life sanctuaries or in the park at Emerald Lake or Gembrook. Local arts and crafts are also located close by.

"SPA SUITE"

The traditional Bed and Breakfast luxury spa suite is designed exclusively for couples who want to get away and just enjoy each others company in a very relaxing, romantic atmosphere. The suite features a lace draped four poster bed, leather lounge, dining table and a double spa that will leave you feeling totally refreshed. The spa suite is totally private with your own entrance. A scrumptious breakfast basket available on request.
