The Bardon Retreat is a quiet, comfortable and spacious unit with a large deck overlooking Ithaca Creek, located 5 kms by car from the Brisbane CBD. This unit suits 1-2 guests looking for self-contained accommodation in peaceful leafy surroundings. The bedroom contains a queen sized bed, built in cupboards, walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. A separate kitchenette and lounge/dining room is tastefully furnished with a Large TV and wireless Internet. The Bardon Retreat is perfect for accommodating short and longer term students, holidaymakers and business stays.

Location

The Bardon Retreat is located just minutes from the Brisbane city centre and close to Route 5 (Jubilee Terrace). The unit is situated in a quiet off road location, with off street garage parking available. It is less than 10 minutes walk to shops and cafés in Ashgrove as well as Brisbane North Institute of TAFE, Ithaca Campus and the Brisbane Bronco's Club. There is a bus stop 30 metres from the driveway. The bus travels to the city centre via Paddington and Suncorp Stadium.

Wonderful location in a beautiful setting, we were over the moon with our choice. The accommodation is very modern, in superb condition, with excellent facilities, like Digital TV, DVD player, Stereo, outstanding veranda with views of the creek, modern fitted kitchen which was spotlessly clean.

Our hosts went out of their way to make our stay even more pleasant.

Anyone wanting to stay very near to Brisbane CBD, would be a fool not to try and book this place.

What a beautiful wee find. Just what we needed for our time in Brisbane. Lovely modern and clean accomodation in a gorgeous tranquil setting looking out onto some bush. I never imagined that aything like this would exist so close to the centre of Brisbane - perfect. Lovely wee shops in Ashgrove and so accessible to the city you wouldn't believe.

Kate, Mark and beautiful wee Hugo were perfect hosts. Great attention to detail with everything you need.

I would recommend to anyone visiting Brisbane and would like to return again one day.

We found the Bardon Retreat perfect for our stay: clean, fresh and modern; private; quiet and yet conveniently located to the Brisbane CBD (just 5 minutes drive) and local shops (a 5 to 10 minute walk). Our hosts were friendly and provided everything that we needed. Highly recommended.

What a great find! We stayed at the Bardon Retreat for a month while our house was being renovated, and it was a great location and very comfortable. The property is light, airy and reasonably spacious, with all the facilities you need, and a great entertainment area out the back. The property backs on to a lovely waterway and bike path - it was a real delight. We highly recommend the Bardon Retreat for short or long stays.
