The Bardon Retreat is a quiet, comfortable and spacious unit with a large deck overlooking Ithaca Creek, located 5 kms by car from the Brisbane CBD. This unit suits 1-2 guests* looking for self-contained accommodation in peaceful leafy surroundings. The bedroom contains a queen sized bed, built in cupboards, chest of drawers, walk in wardrobe and ensuite bathroom. A separate fully equipped kitchenette and lounge/dining room is tastefully furnished with a Large TV and wireless internet. The Bardon Retreat is perfect for accommodating short and longer term students, holidaymakers and business stays.

*Up to 2 additional guests can stay in this spacious unit on single mattresses provided.

Location

The Bardon Retreat is located just minutes from the Brisbane city centre and close to Route 5 (Jubilee Terrace). The unit is situated in a quiet off road location, with off street parking available. It is less than 10 minutes walk to shops and cafés in Ashgrove as well as Brisbane North Institute of TAFE, Ithaca Campus and the Brisbane Bronco's Club. There is a bus stop 40 metres from the driveway. The bus travels to the city centre via Paddington and Suncorp Stadium.

  • "We stayed here for 6 weeks April to June whilst visiting Australia and relatives in Queensland.It was an ideal location for transport into Brisbane city (about 20 mins on the bus) and the local shopping area had everything from major banks to supermarkets and within an easy (though slightly hilly) 10-15 minute walk. The property itself was excellent and the on site owners, Kate and Mark so very helpful.We had everything we needed and more.We would recommend this to anyone who is looking for a quiet and peaceful place to stay. Home from home!"
