We spent 7 wonderful days at The Glasshouse. Although the weather wasn't what one would have expected for this time of year, it was very relaxing to sit on the balcony reading a book or inside on windy days to take in the amazing view. The house is a good design but we would have hung the TV on the northern wall. The kitchen is fairly well equipped but needs a whisk and an unbreakable picnic set would have come in handy. We have teenage children but I do not think it would suit families with toddlers. Definitely one for your bucket list!

We stayed at the Glasshouse in July for our son's 1st birthday and we had a wonderful time. The view from the house is amazing. The house layout is awesome and great for family gettaways. We managed to do a bit of whale watching from the house.
House has excellent facilities and close to Merimbula town.
I highly recommend this house to anyone who is looking for a holiday accomodation in merrimbula!

What a view!
This beach house would be fantastic whatever the weather. We were lucky enough to have mild sunny days and sit out on the decking every day. The view from inside is just as good. Great accommodation for a few couples. The stairs could be a problem for young children. The polished slab floor was different but appropriate for a beach house.

This is a beautiful house. We rented it with three other couples for a weekend of good food and wine and lazing about with trashy novels and crossword puzzles.
The kitchen is well equipped and there is plenty of dinnerware for everyone. Two bar fridges and a small freezer presented a challenge - we brought a lot of food. We had an esky which was useful for keeping the beer cold!
The living area features a very comfy lounge, flat-screen TV, integrated sound system and a big dining table.
The bedrooms are spacious and there are large drawers, but no cupboards. Hooks on the walls held a couple of coat hangers each, and an ironing board & iron is provided.
The main bathroom is very large with a huge shower rose. Ensuite to the master bedroom features a luxurious double shower.
The beds are VERY comfortable with good quality linens. Laundry has a washer and dryer, and a clothes horse and outdoor clothesline are useful for drying towels.
The views from the upstairs living area are SPECTACULAR; when the weather is fine it is wonderful to sit out on the deck and soak up the sunsets. Enormous doors open to let the late afternoon sunshine in.
This is not a house for young children. There is a very steep staircase, and the backyard area is on a steep slope so not really suited to cricket.
All in all a great house. We have rented a four or five bedroom house every year for the past decade and this would be one of the top three houses we have stayed in. Will definitely be back!
