Designed with a large extended group of friends and family in mind, there are four bedrooms (three king size, one with two single beds), two bath rooms, an open lounge and dining room, outdoor garden room, front terrace and rear garden.

There is in fact over 130sqm of living and entertaining space - plenty of room for a family en masse, or some individual peace and quiet.

Picture yourself gathered together around the outdoor cooking theatre or enjoying the passing parade from the terrace…. Maybe toes propped up on the upstairs balcony reading under the endless Queensland sun is more your pace. How about curling up on a sofa watching the ocean and sky, or relaxing in front of the open fire…

The large secure rear gardens are quiet and leafy with a large grassed area perfect for most ‘cocktail lawn sports’ (aka boules!).

But The Queen is not just for big family gatherings. It can also be an intimate and luxurious retreat for two. One bedroom in particular has a spectacular shower with views of the ocean, its own lounge and lovely balcony.

If you decide you need to venture out, Moffat Beach is right at the bottom of the hill for a quick dip or to catch a few serious waves; the cliff top walk will lead you round to the wild and woolly Shelly Beach. Cafes, cinema, shops and the rest of the lovely Sunshine coast are just minutes away. You really are right in the centre of the action at The Queen!

Bedrooms

Master Suite – this generous sized room has a King Bed, double lounge, balcony and amazing ensuite that also has sweeping ocean views.

Main Bedroom - This king size room with sweeping views, houses two long single beds, lounge, and balcony. Can be converted to a King size bed.

Bedroom 1 – This large bedroom has two long single beds which can be converted to a king size bed. Separate access is available to the Master suite via the ensuite to allow a separate ‘wing’ for those with young children, especially when sharing the house with friends or family!

Bedroom 2 – This room has two long singles and has a lovely aspect over the garden.

Sleeps up to eight people.

The Queen also has terms and conditions which are strictly adhered to. The home is not suitable for weddings, schoolies or any large gathering.

Local Attractions

Moffat Beach is based in Caloundra on the Sunshine Coast.

Situated centrally, it is a 1 hour drive north to Noosa, 1 hour south to Brisbane Airport, or a 1/2hr drive north to Maroochydore Airport.

Moffat Beach a mere stroll down the hill and has a great park with a playground for kids.

Retail precinct includes supermarket, Adam’s butchery, Shorty’s newsagency, fish and chip shop and an organic fruit and vegetable store.

Patrolled Dicky Beach within 1 km stroll

Australia Zoo and Mooloolaba’s Underwater World all within 1/2 hr drive

Café/ takeaway Restaurants

Surf Beaches, snorkeling.

Sky diving lands on Moffat Beach– close enough to take your own video!

Walking trail in either direction from The Queen – north along the beach towards Currimundi or south around the headland to Kings and Bulcock Beach
