The Verandah

Description

The Verandah is a gorgeous original beach house set in a lush tropical garden providing a traveler with a haven of peace and tranquility only a few minutes walk from one of the few unspoilt, uncrowded and well preserved beaches in the region; perfect for swimming, surfing, sun bathing or just lazing about! There is even a good chance to spot a pod of Dolphins or the occasional whale.

RELAX & ENJOY THE WELL EQUIPPED HOUSE

The Verandah has has a lovely relaxed beach house feel but with all the modern amenities you would expect from a luxury retreat. It has been furnish by a couple who want to return a few times per year and not have to worry about anything; from the moment you step inside to the large open plan living and dinning room you will be amazed at how all your needs have been met; the kitchen has a state of the art oven and gas cook top and all modern appliances.

The French doors then open onto the wooden Verandah, where afternoons can be spent having a refreshing drink after a tiring day spent on the beach, which is a short stroll from the house, past the general store. Or lite the BBQ and cook up some fresh seafood which can be purchased straight of the boats at Brunswick Heads.

If the body needs to unwind then sink back into the enormous claw bath and let the bubbles relax and rejuvinate, so you can do it all again the next day.

The house has 4 bedrooms, 2 x queens, 1 x single and the kids room with bunk beds; there is also a porta cot if needed for babies. There is a day bed in the lounge room in case you have a visitor.

If it gets too hot or too cold whilst you are visiting then press the button on the reverse cycle airconditioning and all will be solved.

South Golden Beach is in the perfect location, just 15mins drive to Byron Bay, 30mins from Coolangatta/Gold Coast Airport and 1h 20min from Brisbane.

For the golf enthusiasts, just 3 minutes drive is the Ocean Shores Golf and Country Club which boasts one of the most scenic courses in New South Wales. A few minutes further down the road is Brunswick Heads which has a fabulous selection of cafes and boutique shops, it also has one of the oldest pubs in the area with a great beer garden and fantastic live music. Across the road is an amazing park for families, which also provides access to the beautiful Brunswick river
and the associated water sports. On the way home stop into the co-op fish market for some fresh seafood.

Whatever you decide to do, you will be mesmerized by the natuaral beauty of The Verandah and its surroundings; it won't take you long to be totally relaxed and wishing you never had to leave!
