Something about this place makes you want to sit down, relax and just take in the surrounds. Balconies front and rear give both ocean and rolling country side views. Breakfast on the front balcony can only be experienced looking out over the ocean and surf beach – a new picture presents itself each day. Come evening the clear westerly view to the horizon allows unsurpassed views of ocean sunsets. Sit down with a glass of wine and enjoy. Both the master and second bedrooms have views of the country side, so what better way to relax, take a cup of tea and go back to bed and watch the cows grazing in the paddocks.
During the day, take a short 200m stroll to the safe swimming beach where you will find a sheltered sandy beach and dozens of rock pools. At low tide explore the rock pools for sea creatures and small fish. It’s a children’s paradise.
The George Bass coastal walk is right across the road and takes you to San Remo or Wonthaggi. The surf beach is also within walking distance and great for surfing and fishing.
200m up the road is the Killy Pub offering premium quality meals over looking the ocean. The General Store next door to the Pub has basic grocery items, organic take away food and a dine in café.
The open plan lounge, kitchen and dining area has cedar lined cathedral ceilings with ocean and surf beach views. The lounge area has a free standing wood fired heater (wood supplied), split system air conditioner, high definition 50 inch television, DVD player, stereo and an iPod docking station together with a selection of DVD's and music . A leather three seater and two seater couch provide ample seating for everyone.
All of the three bedrooms are fully furnished. The master bedroom has a queen bed, digital wall mounted TV and DVD player. There is also a cooling ceiling fan.
In the second bedroom there is a queen flip out sofa bed and a cooling ceiling fan and in the third, two single beds along with a spare child's mattress on the floor.
Each bedroom also has an oil heater.
There are plenty of blankets, doonas and pillows. You just need to bring your own sheets and towels as we do not have a linen service.
The kitchen is extremely well equipped with everything you need to prepare and eat meals. Basic pantry items are also available. Along with the BBQ on the front porch, quality wool carpets and plenty of chairs to lounge around both front and back, it is just the perfect getaway.
The property is also dog friendly with fencing all around the perimeter of the 1500m block. Perfect too for ball games!
This is our gorgeous Killy Views, a family beach house with lots of love, comfort and the most spectacular views.
