Situated on the edge of Wombat State Forest you will find Majellum, a cosy, comfortable, fully self-contained and free-standing cottage on a 5-acre family estate in a bush environment with Outdoor Heated Spa, LCD TV, Pizza Oven, bush, birds and other wildlife while still being close to Daylesford
YOUR ACCOMMODATION. Experience the comfort and cosyness, warmth and hospitality of Majellum's accommodation with all the necessities to make your stay a relaxing break-away...
Majellum's open modern style kitchen is fully equiped, including stove, oven, microwave and refrigerator.
The separate bedroom has a comfortable and firm Queen Size bed for that necessary good night sleep. There is NO alarm clock... All linen will be supplied. All beds have electric blankets . Feel free to bring a portable cot for your baby/infant.
The en-suite bathroom has shower, toilet and vanity unit.
The lounge room is set up for your own entertainment with a widescreen LCD TV with digital and analogue reception, DVD player with a range of DVDs, CD/Stereo system, magazines, books and tourist information. A split AC/Heating system will regulate the temperature.
The veranda has an outdoor setting and gas BBQ. It is fenced and roof-covered; safe for toddlers and pets.
OUTDOOR WOODFIRE PIZZA OVEN. Feel free to make use of it. Gourmet pizza galore... Definitely achievable...
OUTDOOR HEATED SPA. Turn your stay into a spa holiday with the use of the outdoor heated spa. A pleasant experience in all weather conditions... Arrive and relax. Release the tension of everyday life. Gaze at the stars right above you during a crisp and clear night accompanied by a glass of French sparkling wine...
PETS. Majellum is animal friendly and therefore very much welcomes friendly and well-behaved small and medium sized pets (up to a maximum number of two small sized pets or one medium sized pet) and their responsible owners. When making an enquiry, please mention type, size and number of pets.
MASSAGE AT MAJELLUM. Enjoy massage and beauty therapy in our "Water Tank Studio" which is located on the property.

AROUND MAJELLUM. The beautiful bush with its wildlife, where you could get woken up by the laugh of the kookaburra or the song of the currawong. Watch and hear the galahs or the blue and red wrens. You may see an echidna, koala or kangaroo. Walk along Hurns road overlooking farmland and forest. And enjoy the golden reflections of the sun towards the end of the day
DAYLESFORD. Experience the local region of Daylesford with nearby mineral springs i.e. Deep Spring, Tala Spring or Brandy Hot Spring. Go and walk the "Tipperary Track"; all or part of it
Daylesford township, a pleasant and inspiring 7 min drive from Majellum has all the conveniences, restaurants, cafes and shops, art and craft, day spas, book shops and a beautiful lake.
BALLARAT is a comfortable 25 min drive from Majellum with much more. Visit Sovereign Hill or consider even Blood on the Southern Cross the very impressive nighttime outside theatre show. Lake Wendouree has something for everybody, including walking, bird watching or even sun baking in summer on the grass...
FURTHERMORE, there is mini golf, a maze, horse riding, 4-wheel driving and much more. All within a very short distance from Majellum
