Description

Be captured by the peace and tranquillity of this comfortable, self-contained two bedroom Miners Cottage, set well back from the road and surrounded by the Castlemaine Diggings National Heritage Park.

The Region is steeped in Goldfields history from the buildings to the diggings where you can trace the miner’s exploits of the 1850’s.

Things to do.

The Dry Diggings Track goes right past Sage Cottage, go bush walking and see the ruins of the goldfields. Don’t miss the wildflowers in spring.

Visit Maldon, Victoria’s first notable town, tour Carmen’s Tunnel and then go for a ride on the Steam Train.
Take a spa in Daylesford or Hepburn Springs.
Whether you want to sightsee or just take in the ambience of the area we have the perfect place to stay. You need only to escape to Fryerstown. Sage Cottage is waiting for you to arrive and enjoy yourselves.
