"Couran North" is one of the few houses available for rent at Couran Point which has views of the Broadwater. Picture yourself relaxing on the huge deck of an afternoon watching the boats go by! There is a beautiful sandy beach right in front of the house and it also overlooks the beach and lawn area of Couran Point Resort.
During your stay you have full access to Couran Point resort which has a restaurant, lagoon pool with water slide, tennis courts, play area and a unique relaxed feel. Please be aware that the resort restaurant may only be open at peak times.
The island itself is abundant in wildlife and the wallabies will happily graze on the lawn in front of the house. Unlike other Gold Coast beaches, South Stradbroke is very secluded Access to the island is by boat only. The house has a 12m pontoon and is on a deep water canal. A water taxi service is available if you don't have a boat. Fare enquiries should be made to Gold Coast Water Taxis on .
This is truly a unique holiday destination for those who are looking for total relaxation and a touch of difference!
The house is well equipped with 2 bedrooms (main ensuited) and a bunk room with 3 double bunks. All bedrooms are air conditioned.
The main living/kitchen area is open plan and opens up with bi-fold doors onto a huge deck with dining table for 8, chairs for relaxation and hammocks.
The kitchen has a double fridge with ice maker, dishwasher, microwave, coffee machine and full cooking facilities. There is also a large bbq on the deck.
Full laundry facilities are available and all linen is supplied (excluding beach towels).
There are canoes, a ping pong table, PS2, DVD, CD player, books, games & fishing rods to keep everyone amused.
