This exquisite turn-of-the-century cottage, nestled within a totally private and magical garden is only a short walk to the centre of Leura village. It provides the perfect venue for a romantic relaxing and indulgent stay. Naturally you have the whole cottage to yourselves and we ensure that your privacy is never invaded. Lemon Tree can accommodate two to four people in supreme comfort. The cottage has everything from period furnishings, quality linen, an abundance of fluffy towels, doonas, sheepskin electric blankets, slow combustion log fire, natural gas log fire, T.V., DVD, Hi Fi and video, dishwasher, washing machine, gas barbeque, books and games etc etc. The modern bathroom is fitted with a luxury double side by side spa which is over half a metre deep. Custom made windows opening onto the garden reach right down to the level of the spa. A natural gas hot water system ensures endless piping hot water. A garden that is so private our guests have no need to lower the blinds whilst engaging in the exhausting pastime of luxuriating in bubbles and watching the birdlife walk by. Or at night light the candles, dim the lights. Put on music and relax while sipping champagne before walking to some of the finest restaurants in Leura.
Attention to detail is our hallmark-Master bedroom and Drawing Room
The philosophy behind Lemon Tree's design was to create an ideal retreat for our guests to enjoy both luxury and privacy. The Master bedroom is subltly ragged in a soft green with the mood further enhanced by: low lighting, a luxurious queen sized 4 posted Queen Anne bed with crisp linen and for those particularly cold nights sheepskin electric blankets. Morning or night it provides a retreat from which it it difficult to leave. The second bedroom is light and airy, featuring heritage colours, an antique geisha dressing chest and a classic 19th century wardrobe. An antique kimono is a feature on the wall behind the Edwardian inlaid wooden double bed, which gives a comfortable nights sleep in rich surroundings.
You will find yourself instantly fathoms deep in colour and warmth in the Drawing Room. Suffused with candlelight and firelight it provides a haven both day and night.
The Dining Room, Kitchen and rear deck
Whilst many fine restaurants are only a stroll from Lemon Tree, the dining room's slow-combustion log fire, candles and gentle downlighting create a perfect mood for a romantic dinner for two.
The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, hotplates, microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Generous breakfast provisions are provided upon your arrival. These include: bread, biscotti, free range eggs, ground coffee, different teas, juice, milk, jam, marmalade, butter and cereals.
To the rear of the cottage, French doors open on to a private north facing deck which provides a perfect little suntrap. A Teak outdoor setting and additional directors chairs provide an idyllic place in which your can truly forget that everyday life actually exists. A gas barbeque may inspire you to take a break from Leura's restaurants and to dine "al fresco."

Prices
Weekends include either Friday/Saturday or Saturday/ Sunday. The tariff for 2 people for the weekend is $530. The weekday tariff for 2 people is $195 per night. Extra guests pay $25 per person per night.. 10% reduction for weekly stays.
