MALIHINI is located on prestigious tree-lined Melaleuca Drive, a quiet avenue of discerning estates.
Yet everything you need is just a stones throw away.
The property is within minutes of both Resort and the Marina where restaurants, supermarket, boutiques & bars are easily found. A short stroll down the hill takes you to beautiful Catseye Beach. You & your family can swim in the many resort pools, snorkel, rent windsurfers & catamarans or simply laze about on the beach & do absolutely nothing.
A unique character house,and one of only a handful of privately owned houses on Hamilton Island, Malihini is perfect for those seeking the true tropical island holiday experience. Wide open patios, swaying coconut trees, birds and the breeze....reminiscent of the quintessential colonial sugar plantation house.
MAIN HOUSE - 2 large light filled Bedrooms.
Master Bedroom - gorgeous Queen size Bamboo Four Poster Bed, spacious dressing room & with own luxury ensuite. Flatscreen TV.
2nd Bedroom - 2 single beds (reconfigured to King on request) + 2 cabin mattresses for children.
Close to the 2nd Bedroom is the exotic, garden bathroom featuring an island bath.... for a luxurious soak and a beautiful, walk thru to private outdoor shower room.
GUESTS LOVE OUR SENSE OF SPACE. THERE IS ROOM FOR EVERYONE TO SPREAD OUT.
Malihini's spacious central living room has comfortable sofas & a delicious daybed, perfect for lounging, watching TV/DVDs, or catching up on some holiday reading.
The indoor dining room opens out onto the large covered patio and BBQ area. A great spot for outdoor dining & entertaining, or relaxing on the patio daybed with morning coffee and paper.
Malihini has a fabulous well equipped kitchen. Here you will find a family size fridge, S/Steel 4 burner gas stove with electric oven, microwave, dishwasher and other handy kitchen appliances with quality pots, pans, glassware etc.There are even plastic cups & bowls for children.
The laundry has frontloading washing machine, large dryer, and iron with an outdoor hanging area in the rear courtyard. Air conditioning & fans throughout.
OPTIONAL: Our "Hula Hut" is the detached 3rd bedroom. This studio cottage is a private retreat perfect for the other couple.....either the accompanying Grandparents, family friends or the older offspring!
Features White panelled walls, louvres,wooden & rattan touches give the "Hula Hut" a romantic South Sea island feel. Double Bed, own Flat screen TV/DVD, with fan. Access to Main Bathroom/Toilet. POA
Please note: Hula Hut is only available when renting the Main House. Not available seperately.
After a day on the beach or the pleasures of boating it is sheer luxury to come home, fire up the BBQ & sip on a sundowner. This is real island living..your tropical dream holiday.
