Guest Reviews
Our stay at the boathouse was wonderful. It was the perfect winter family getaway. The fire kept us all toasty warm whilst we enjoyed views of the lake. It was very well appointed and stylish with lots of home comforts. The children were also very well catered for with safety gates, high chair, a portacot and a playground just outside the house. Thanks Graham and Barbara we hope to be back soon.

This was our first visit to the Boathouse and an enjoyable one. We have two small children and everything we needed for them was there. It is like home away from home; very comfortable and the perfect location.

Thanks

Thank you for such a wonderful holiday. The property was even nicer than the photos. Everything we needed was catered for, including a comfortable bed. There were lots of finishing touches that made us feel very welcome. Booking was easy, friendly and very helpful. We will certainly be recommending The Boat House. Thanks again.

Unbelievably locaction with stunning lake views and a perfect house for the single couple, mutiple couples or, as our case, two toddlers and a baby. The multiple and varied living / dining spaces alow flexibility and privacy within the house. We particularly appreciated the child friendly facilities and security measures available. Modern facilities and a very workable kitchen that is stocked as well as your own home, they've thought of EVERYTHING !!! Including their own diverse library for those leasurely holiday ciestas. Very easy to keep clean and the architectural design optimises air flow, really .. the perfect holiday house.

This was my family's first visit to The Boat House and it wont be the last. The house is fabulous with a perfect layout and position for all, in particular, my brother who has some disabilities. The kids were never bored due to the hiring of the canoes and hobie cats, a golf course a short distance away for my man and the Frothy Coffee shop for Mum and me. No reason to go in search of restaurants as the kitchen is well equipped and the best views were from the front deck. We were all well relaxed by the end of our stay and sad to leave.

This was our second stay at The Boat House. We usually like to stay at different holiday locations, but this one is extra special. The layout of the house is great and so is the location. My family are already asking to go back.

The "Boat House" proved to be a fantastic retreat for our holiday. Our yearly reunion of 5 to 7 adults makes finding the right accomodation a little difficult.(for a reasonable price)The bedrooms were very comfortable, even the two singles. The layout of the kitchen with the bi-fold doors opening onto the middle deck(great BBQ)to the left and huge dining table, front deck and gorgeous view in front made cooking duties a pleasure. The interior was modern and very clean. The photos don't do it justice. We usually go to different locations each year but all feel this one would be hard to beat.Highly recommend "The Boat House".
