This was a great property for a girls weekend. We had everything we needed and some very comfy beds. The fire made for a lovely toastie atmosphere. It's in a nice, peaceful location and yet close enough to any of the coastal towns, wineries and the Hot Springs so you don't feel isolated. I would recommend Agave and definitely plan to keep it in mind for future trips.

Arrived to the welcoming atmosphere of lights on and music playing, and then enjoyed a weekend in this most comfortable, clean, well equipped and well located house. Would happily recommend Agave Lodge to others wanting a beach house close to Melbourne and walking distance to a beautiful bit of coastline.

A very comfortable clean home to stay in which made the holiday even more enjoyable. We got to enjoy all the local sites without being too far away. My dog loved the yard as it was quite large and lots of room to run around. My 81 year old mother came with us and she had no problem gaining access to the house only two steps at the front and a flat block.

Thanks again Paul, the whole family loved staying at your beach house. Great to get up in the morning and go for an early surf and then off to golf, the hot springs or wineries. So calming and relaxing, the house had everything we needed. Including a fire place for the chilly summer nights??? My little one cried on leaving he, as we all did, just loved Agave.

What a fantastic beach house, just a short walk from beautiful St Andrews Beach, and 10 minutes' drive from Rye.
We stayed with three small children and our golden retriever for two nights and had a fabulous time. The house was clean, roomy and fresh, and was complete with TV, DVD player, a large backyard perfect for exploring, decked area with a gas BBQ, and plenty of books and board games. We felt a thousand miles away from it all, but we were still close enough to Rye and Rosebud to pick up supplies or go out for dinner. A great base for exploring the Mornington Peninsula, but also a lovely house to simply relax in. Wish we could have stayed longer!
Highly recommended - we would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful time at Agave Lodge. We enjoyed the gorgeous weather (which was a pleasant surprise in mid winter!) and exploring the surrounding areas. Agave Lodge was perfect - we loved staying there and particularly loved all the little added extras like the wood fire, the coffee plunger and the board games all of which added to our enjoyment! We booked last minute and found Paul very informative and he made is easy to book with. We would highly recommend this property to families and groups.

We spent the first weekend of the AFL finals at Agave Lodge so there was much TV viewing! The house is very easy to move into and out of. It is clean, warm (when needed), nicely presented and had all the kitchen utensils we needed for eating in. A short walk to the magnificence of the Rye back beach which we had to ourselves. Had a huge storm on the Saturday night but the house nestled into the bush - no leaks, no damage! Shauna and Paul were really helpful and pleasant to deal with. We would certainly return.

We had a most enjoyable holiday. The house was perfect for our needs and was great for small dogs, with plenty of yard space and secure fencing. The house was by no means new which also suited our needs, allowing the dogs indoors was great for my two sooks. The house was clean and beds comfortable (we took our own Linen) and space for the odd visitor which was great. Would, and have recommended it to friends and will keep it in mind next time we want to have a holiday on the Peninsula.

We visited on what were probably the two coldest nights this winter and the house was warm and cosy, with two different heat sources - especially a Coonara with red gum logs! We were delighted with the fresh, white, simple decor and found the house extremely comfortable, quiet, and tranquil. In fact, we hardly left, staying in to cook all our meals and just relax, listen to music and talk. The very wild St Andrews Beach is a short walk away and we had a look at the spectacular sight. We went out to the nearby hot springs for a long soak and the fact that it is a five minute drive home is a real plus. Briliant! We certainly intend to come again.

We enjoyed our stay. The house had plenty of space in the living area which meant we could spend time in our group of 8 socialising comfortably. Beds were absolutly great. We were at a convention in Blairgowrie, so only spent minimal time at the house but it was exactly what we wanted, a comfortable, warm place to base ourselves at a reasonable price.
