Knopwood Apartment offers up to five guests a large self contained upstairs apartment located in historic Battery Point, near Hobart’s city centre.

From the apartment it will take you just a few minutes to walk to a selection of fine restaurants, cafes, pubs and food outlets that are situated within in the Battery Point and Salamanca Place area.

Property Description & Location

Knopwood Apartment is fully equipped and will sleep up to five guests. It consists of six main rooms, kitchen/dining alcove, bathroom, two bedrooms, (1 Queen, 1 Double) lounge and a sunroom (1 Single, 1 Futon) overlooking the Hobart city centre and the Tasman Bridge.

The apartment building is set in a pleasant garden surrounding, and is located in a secluded quiet street
with off street parking, and is within a few minutes walk to Battery Point village the waterfront area, Salamanca Place and the Saturday Salamanca Market.

For your catering supplies you will find a Coles & Woolworths supermarket in the Sandy Bay shopping centre, this is a 1.5k five minute drive . Also at Salamanca Place which is a few minutes walk there are numerous food outlets.

It is an easy ten minute walk via the waterfront area or through St David’s Park into the city centre of Hobart.

If you do require transport from the airport, the Airporter shuttle bus service will drop you off very close to the property.

The apartment is strictly non smoking and not really suitable for children under 10.

A deposit of 50% is required to secure your booking.

Balance is due on check in.

Attractions & Activities

It is just a short stroll to the Battery Point Village and Arthur's Circus where you find quaint old cottages, corner stores a bakery and grand houses, or you may care to visit the Narryna Heritage Museum.
It is a five minute walk to the departure point for Harbour cruises and river tours to the Cadbury Chocolate Factory or Peppermint Bay. Also around the waterfront area you will find the Tasmanian Museum and Art Gallery along with the Maritime Museum and Mures Fish Centre.
Drive to Port Arthur and the Tasman Peninsula in 1.5h, the Tahune Air Walk and Huon Valley in 1.25h, Richmond in 35m or the Salmon Ponds in the Derwent Valley in 1hour.
