This character three storey terrace sits on the low side of Francis St, one of Bondi's most desired tree-lined streets that runs from New South Head Road to the beachfront. From the house it is a ten minute walk to the beach or a five minute stroll to the cafes and boutiques of Bondi.

The house reflects the taste and travels of its architect owner, displaying an eclectic range of furniture and artefacts collected over the years, set against a pallette of moody colours and textures.

You enter the house on the middle floor, down a few stairs from street level. This level contains a sunroom and a separate lounge room with log fireplace, a gourmet kitchen and a dining area. The large sunroom leads on to a north facing deck, ideal for lazy afternoon drinks or evening BBQs.

The floor above houses the master bedroom with ensuite and a full wall of louvre windows that look out onto the upper branches of an enormous Camphor Laurel tree. There are two more large bedrooms (the largest with its own veranda) and the main bathroom. The ground floor consists of the owner's office which doubles as the fourth bedroom, another bathroom and the laundry. There is a covered deck coming off this level which leads out onto a herb and vegetable garden and the lower yard.

Accommodation consists of two queen size beds, one double bed and up to three singles in the largest room upstairs.

While unmistakably quirky and interesting, the house is also modern and comfortable . There is a wide screen digital TV with DVD/CD player, a well equipped bookcase and a choice of areas to sit and chat or lie around and read. The kitchen is equipped with a dishwasher, large refrigerator, microwave and gas range with electric oven.

"Bondi" is said to be an Aboriginal word meaning "water breaking over rocks". Bondi Beach is one of the most famous beaches in the world and is visited by over two and half million people a year. It?s one kilometre stretch of sand can be covered by up to 40,000 people at one time. Bondi Beach is unique. It has a life and personality that reflects its diverse population. From local surfers, to young people who live in Bondi, to backpackers from all over the world who dominate the scene, to multi-cultural communities, Bondi has it all. In summer, the beach becomes the playground for families. Bondi offers beautiful coastal walks, white sand, crashing surf, and lazy days. Great strip shopping lines all the small back streets where the locals like to hang out and drink coffee. Stumble upon organic food stores and cafes, eco friendly clothing and gift stores, captivating jewellery stores and the famous Bondi Markets (Sundays).

Sydney Airport is a twenty minute drive away, with a taxi costing around $50 each way. The Sydney central business district is about fifteen minutes by bus, with excellent shopping available in the nearby Bondi Junction.
