Absolute beachfront cotage with the best views on the NSW South Coast, only 10 mins south of Batemans Bay. Ideally designed for a couple or family. The cottage is in a prime and peaceful residential location, a few houses up the start of a headland from the beach. Its comfortable interior commands a stunning panoramic view southward over Malua Bay beach and out to the ocean; whales and dolphins can be spotted without binoculars from the balcony. This idyllic view is accessible from the main bedroom, seaside balcony, lounge, kitchen, dining area, and downstairs studio. Ideal for a seachange holiday looking out in comfort on the work of nature. The cottage has lovely, well maintained gardens and is unfenced allowing direct access to the beach from the backyard. The bedroom configuration is designed to suit a couple or family. There are two bedrooms upstairs. The main bedroom is on the seaside with a queensize ensemble (as pictured on the website) and built-in wardrobe. The second bedroom has a double-decker bunk (as pictured). A studio downstairs has its own entrance, another double decker bunk (similar to the one pictured upstairs), built-in wardrobe, TV/DVD, and small lounge suite, and coffee table. Because it has its own entrance, downstairs occupants can have semi-independence, or you might just want to send the children downstairs for a while during the day. The kitchen and bathroom upstairs are new. There is a laundry with an extra shower downstairs. Off street parking for two cars. An IGA supermarket and other shops including a cafe and restaurant are 10 minutes walk across the beach.

for up to 4 adults, or a family of up to 6:
Currently summer weeks are $1190 and weekends are $490.
Easter hols: $1600 per week.
Christmas Holidays: $2750 per week

Low season: $980 per week,
Stays of less than a week are only available outside school holidays. Price on application, but basically as calculated by website plus $80 cleaning fee for less than 4 nights.

Malua Bay Beach

Malua Bay Beach is situated 12 kilometres south of Batemans Bay. So it is 12 minutes from Batemans, about 2 hours from Canberra, 4 from Sydney and good way from Melbourne. The beach is patrolled in summer on weekends and each day of the summer and Easter school holidays. There is a sheltered swimming area near the cliff. The patrolled area is suitable for general swimming and body surfing. There is also a break along the beach that is popular with local surfboard and knee board riders. There is plenty to see by snorkelling. (There are also some remarkable diving areas.) The small local shops include an IGA with extended hours, a butcher, a newsagent, a bottle shop, a take-away, and a small restaurant with a charming character. There is another restaurant at the Malua Bay Bowling club 700 metres inland. Further facilities, should you want them, are a short drive away at Batehaven and Batemans Bay.

In the area around Malua Bay Beach

The area offers all sorts of water sports, particularly fishing. Fishing trips can be arranged at Batemans Bay or south at Maruya. There are also many other attractions within a short drive: Mogo zoo, Mogo gold fields, Batemans Bay Bird Sanctuary, ...
