This beachfront cottage assures a tranquil getaway. Its renovated, comfortable interior it commands a stunning panoramic view southward over Malua Bay Beach, headlands and the ocean. This view is accessible from the main bedroom, seaside balcony, lounge, kitchen, dining area, and downstairs studio. Ideal for those who enjoy a tranquil getaway looking out in comfort on the inspiring forces of nature. The main bedroom is on the seaside with a queensize ensemble (as pictured on the website). The second bedroom has a double-decker bunk (as pictured). A studio downstairs has its own entrance, another double decker bunk (similar to the one pictured upstairs), a small TV, video and seating, and, of course stunning views over Malua Bay. The kitchen upstairs is new. The bathroom is renovated. There is a laundry with an extra shower downstairs. Off street parking for two cars. The cottage is in a prime and tranquil location over Malua Bay beach with million dollar views. Shops are still accessible by walking across the beach.

Malua Bay Beach

Malua Bay Beach is situated 12 kilometres south of Batemans Bay. So it is about 2 hours from Canberra, 4 from Sydney and good way from Melbourne. The beach is patrolled in summer on weekends and each day of the holidays. There is a sheltered swimming area near the cliff. The patrolled area is suitable for paddling closer in, and body surfing further out. There is a break a short way along the beach that is popular with local surfboard and knee board riders. There is plenty to see by snorkelling. (There are also some remarkable diving areas.) The small local shops include an IGA with extended hours, a garage, two take-aways, and a little restaurant with a charming character. There is another restaurant at the Malua Bay Bowling club 700 metres inland. Further facilities, should you want them, are a short drive away at Batemans Bay.

In the area around Malua Bay Beach

The area offers all sorts of water sports, particularly fishing in addition to those already mentioned. Fishing trips can be arranged at Batemans Bay or south at Maroya. There are also many other attractions within a short drive: Mogo zoo, Mogo gold fields, Batemans Bay Bird Sanctuary, ...
