Welcome to Tangenong, your Hepburn Springs escape. Three lovely self contained cottages tucked away in the bush and just for couples. Only a few minutes restful walk through beautiful Australian bush in Hepburn Mineral Springs Reserve separates you from Australia's renowned springs and spa resort. Enjoy natures own treasures at your doorstep, whilst lapping up the cosy comfort of your very own cottage. Warmed by real wood fires or cooled by split system air conditioners , Tangenong Cottages offer the very best of everything that makes Hepburn Springs famous.

Tangenong Cottages was originally part of Lulworth Holiday Cottages. So, if you know Lulworth, you know what a great reputation we have and will continue.

Cottages, Tariffs & Booking Conditions

Two night minimums apply to weekends, 3 nights on long weekends and 4 nights at Easter.
Single nights available midweek.

Cottages:

Locarno

An elevated position gives Locarno privacy without sacrificing great western views of the bush. The spacious bedroom has a queen size bed with large two person corner spa and walk in shower as ensuite. The living area features the famed Ned Kelly wood burner backed by reverse cycle air conditioning and LCD TV. The well equipped kitchen and secluded dining area feature great treetop views of the plentiful birdlife. With separate car entry, a washing machine, fire wood located conveniently at the rear door and own BBQ Locarno is truly your personal hideaway.

Tarilta

Tarilta is the best getaway for a romantic couple or two good friends. Complete with large spa bath, quality fittings, wood fire, great furnishings and splendiferous views. A king sized bed (or two singles), kitchenette facilities for sustenance, a Ned Kelly wood burner to raise the temperature, a video, LCD TV DVD and CD player for those relaxing wind down times and a wide spacious private veranda with a beautiful outlook over the surrounding bush will all combine to provide just the right environment to make this stay memorable.

Aurora

This studio provides very secluded accommodation for 1 couple. The queen sized bed is a great vantage point to admire the wonderful view from the west facing window (fantastic sunsets). Located on the highest point of our site, but almost hidden in the surrounding bush, Aurora is often described as "like being in a tree house". Aurora offers a real chance to be private, independent and relaxed, with out breaking the budget.

Booking Procedure:

All guests MUST telephone property for bookings and to organize arrival times and key collection.
Email response can be delayed - satellite connection. All bookings are taken via telephone.

We do not live on-site and there is no on-site manager or reception area.

Cancellation Policy:

Bookings with a deposit paid, may be transferred to a
different date, subject to availability.
Cancellation with more than two weeks notice – deposit
refunded less a $20.00 administration fee (or 10%
of amount paid).
Cancellation within two weeks of date of arrival - forfeit
deposit unless cottage is re-let then the administration
fee above applies.
No refund is payable on failure to notify cancellation i. e. "no
show".
