This lovely home is a home away from home. We supply linen and bath towels.
Please bring your own beach towels and your pets bedding, food & water bowls.
Fraser Island & whale watching are just on the doorstep.
The Lake House is situated in the quiet area of Hervey Bay and not too far away from the Hervey Bay Marina.
Plan a day trip to beautiful Fraser Island. Fraser Island was recently voted No. 2 best Queensland destination & Hervey Bay Whale Watching was voted No. 5 best Queensland destination
Whale watching cruises start in July and run through until November each year.
So close to other great towns
Why not use The Lake House as your base and explore the many towns surrounding Hervey Bay.
Explore Maryborough and take in the colonial architecture and museums. Dine at one of the many riverside restaurants and cafes or catch a show at the state of the art Brolga Theatre.
Then onto Childers a delightfully cultural town filled with arts, crafts, museums and cafe's. Childers has its own cultural festival held each July and it is certainly worth the time to visit.
Just an hour after Childers is the city of Bundaberg. Bundaberg is situated on the Burnett River and is the gateway to the Great Barrier Reef. Home to the world famous Bundaberg Rum Distillery - book a tour of the distillery or swim at pristine Bargara Beach. The Wide Bay is truly a lovely part of the world and certainly a must to visit.
