  • "Shhhhh...don't tell anyone about this wonderful holiday home. Great location up the road from Putty Beach. Open, light and airy design with lots of space. Loved eating our BBQ dinner out on the covered deck. Great for families. Thank you so much!"

  • "We hardly ever get the opportunity to get away for a weekend, so our choice of destination and accomodation is something we take very seriously! We had never been to Killcare and we only had the online pictures of Wallaroo to go by, but WOW, what a wonderful home we had chosen! There were only 3 of us, but there was ample room for 2 big families! We were also nicely surprised by the modern furnishings and appliances! We loved the gas fire!! We thought the photos looked good, but they certainly do not do justice to the home! We were really impressed by the lovely big deck and spent our 2 nights out there cooking a bbq and enjoying a "peaceful" glass of wine (after our active 2yr old went to bed of course)! The beach was lovely, but the real surprise was Hardys Bay just over the other side of the hill - both were in walking distance which was really handy! I have nothing but complimentary things to say about the owner either, who could not have been more friendly or obliging when it came to making our stay comfortable and enjoyable! From our little family, thank you so much for a wonderful holiday!!!! "

  • "Wallaroo was a great place to stay. Situated within walkable distance to Killcare beach, Hardys Bay, and local stores. The house is very modern with a great balcony to sit back and enjoy a beer and some bbq food. I was quite surprised with all the condiments already available as we had purchased everything the night before. This place had a selection of DVDs, board games, Gas BBQ, and Table Tennis - definitely everything is there for a good night in. Overall, we had an enjoyable experience here. Highly recommended."

  • "Great family layout with plenty of room for kids and adults. The large main bedroom is dark and quiet at night and the brand-new bunk beds were a hit with the two-year-old. A beachy feel but with modern touches. Very comfortable."

  • ""Wallaroo" is a great place to stay. The house is airy and spacious, perfectly kitted out for a relaxing holiday. There are even board games and DVD's to entertain the kids on those not so sunny days. The fact that it is within easy walking distance to shops, restaurants and the beach makes life very easy. We will certainly be back!"
