Description

Enjoy spectacular views from the verandah as you unwind from a days bushwalking, skiing or simply soaking up the serenity.

Littleglen has been newly decorated inside and enjoys a gorgeous location set amongst the chestnut groves. The property itself has everything you could wish for including native bushland, river flats, a hazlenut grove and acres of chestnuts under which our small flock of Wiltshire sheep graze.

At the gate to the property is Morses Creek, ideal for fishing, swimming and yabbying, while at our back fence is the state forest with unlimited trails taking you up to the high country.

The house has every comfort of home with a well equipped kitchen, Austar TV, DVDs, comfy sofas and a wood burning heater for those winter nights.

Everyone Welcome

The house sleeps 6 people in 3 bedrooms (2 doubles and a bunk bed), and all well behaved pets are welcome.

The location amongst some of the most gorgeous bushland in the state makes it ideal for trail riding, so horses are also welcome. We have a 5 acre paddock with automatic watering for equine pals to have their own holiday.

Close to Amenities

Historic Wandiligong with its tea room, pub and art gallery is only 5 minutes drive away; while Bright with its shops, restaurants and wine bars is a total of 10 minutes drive away.

Going further afield you are spoilt for choice with Gapstead and Boynton's wineries within 30 minutes and a dozen more in the locality, including Milawa with Brown Brothers and the famous cheese factory.

  • "My family of five, 2 adults, 3 children and our puppy, Harley, thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Little Glen. The house was clean and very comfortable and we enjoyed the beautiful scenery and peaceful afternoon drinks on the verandah. The horses were very friendly and the children loved feeding them apples every morning. The beautiful parrots, who visited us each morning were another highlight. A fabulous getaway, looking forward to returning soon!"

  • "I've just returned from a relaxing weekend at Littleglen and cannot speak highly enough of the place. The location is superb - a true country retreat, yet close enough to Bright for supplies or dining. The owners are very friendly and helpful - the leaflet sent prior to our stay was much appreciated. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will definitely be back soon!"

  • "Littleglen was exactly what I was hoping for, it fulfilled all expectations - the cottage was well equipped and stayed warm with the log fire. The fencing around the property meant it was truly dog friendly and she had a fantastic time snuffing around the gardens and staring quizzically at the sheep! The verandah is a sun trap and we spent most days relaxing out there, enjoying the peace of the valley. thank you carol and perry, we will definitely be back!"

  • "Littleglen was absolutely the perfect retreat to get away from it all. The walking tracks around the house were just beautiful and our two dogs were so worn out they slept away the afternoons in sunshine on the lawns. The sheep were super friendly and added to the country charm. Sitting on the veranda and hearing only the nearby creek was very relaxing. The house was very clean and comfortable and the fireplace was lovely at night time. I have highly recommended Littleglen to everyone I know, who is looking for a relaxing quiet time away. Thanks Perry & Carol, I can't wait to visit Littleglen again as soon as possible. Erin."

  • "This lovely cabin is about 10 minutes out of Bright. The property is quiet and situated in a lovely little valley. The house is as it appears in the pictures - neat and well maintained. I would be happy to return and have no trouble recommending it to others. Bonuses include the huge herb garden and the creek across the road for a cooling dip. "

  • "What an amazing location! We woke up to breathtaking views of misty hills with clouds among them right across the road. Also, loved the total privacy as the huge property is at the bend of a gravel road and there is no house in sight. Our friends and family had also rented nearby but none of them had as exquisite a view as we did.The kids had a good time playing in the abundant outdoor area, watching the sheep and last but not the least, watching cable tv. I cannot think of a better place for a relaxing and peaceful vacation."
