Myola Water-Front & Jetty House

The "Jetty House @ Currambene" is located on the banks of Currambene Creek in Myola. It is part of and surrounded by the magnificent Jervis Bay national and marine park areas. The "Jetty House" has direct river frontage and its own private jetty, for your personal use.

Most of your time will be spent on the verandah or jetty watching the children canoeing or playing in the sparkling clear waters of Currambene creek. If the beach is preferred, it is just a short stroll away to the beaches of the Jervis Bay marine park .

Location & Attractions

The "Jetty House @ Currambene" is a pleasant 2.5 hours drive from Sydney, and only 1.5 hours from Wollongong and 3 hours from Canberra. Be one of the few to experience the timeless appeal of an Australian " Summer House Vacation " sitting on your verandah or jetty, on the foreshore, overlooking the pristene water of the unspoilt Currambene Creek.

Dolphins reside in Jervis Bay all year round and at times they can be viewed from the lounge area of the " Jetty House " as they make there way upstream Currambene Creek. Kangaroo's, Rabbit's, Kookaburra's, Possum's and colourful Parrots and Galah's will interest the children.

Excellent Fishing and Game Fishing from the Jervis bay rock platforms or unhook the boat from your private jetty and cruise out to the Famous Sir Joseph Banks Region for Marlin, Tuna and Kingfish. Enjoy Cannoeing, Kayacking, windsurfing, explore the river, swim at near by Callala Beach, Snorkel, or just lay on the deck or grassy reserve and watch the Kids jumping and diving of the jetty Explore the famous Booderee National Park, visit Honeymoon Bay, Surf at "Target" a local surf break attraction.

The Town of Myola/callala Beach is a quiet coastal and well known holiday destination. The town has a local small supermarket, Cafe's and Seafood shop, Callala Recreation Club has Golf, Bowls and often holds childrens Disco nights during the school holidays and also has a very good bistro and courtesy Bus.

Accomodation & Rates

The House;

Four bedrooms - one of which offers a queen bed,with complete " river views " one of which offers a double bed- one offers twin single beds with own ensuite - the other offers twin double bunk beds.

All rooms have built in robes for your convenience.
There is a large bathroom and a fully equipped laundry and kitchen.

The "gallery style kitchen" with full river views, is adjacent to the deck and serves directly to the open plan dining and living room, all with complete water views. The lounge comes with a large TV & DVD player. The main lounge area enjoys expansive views and although a large screen TV is provided, most of your time will be spent taking in the surrounding views.
A large covered deck provided to give protection from the sun and to enjoy alfresco dining all year round. The deck comes complete with a BBQ facility and dining setting. The shaded verandah being on the river side of the property, is a great place to enjoy drinks at sunset.

The Childrens Retreat

We have a garage converted into a " children's retreat " that comes with table tennis, board games, private lounge area, dinning tables, benches, TV, DVD etc. all to create your children's own private space.

The property will accept pets upon request and has a fully fenced front and rear yard, with a lockable rear deck area provided for pet night time accomodation. Pets must be kept outside, conditions and refundable bond may apply.
The local beaches are pet friendly and a great place to walk your pet.

During Summer and Easter school holidays and official long weekends, a flat rate applies for the house.

Tariffs negotiable, at the discretion of the property owner, depending on booking type, season and availability.

Guests must supply their own linen and towels although a hire service is available at an additional cost.
Doona's and pillow's are provided.
