Binyara Costal Retreat is sheltered in the natural coastal bush between Walkerville South and Bear Gully. It has spectacular views of the ocean and Wilsons Promontory from the house and many of the private walks on the 160 acres, which is Binyara.

The house is extremely private making it a great experience. There are 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms available on request, sleeping up to 12 people. Included are a Sauna and Spa. The house is open and full of light with views from every corner of Waratah Bay, Wilsons Promontory mountains and the islands of Bass Straight.

Your only neighbours at Binyara Coastal retreat will be the wildlife, possums, kangaroos, koalas, wombats, echidnas, rosellas, kookaburras, deer and more often appear in sight from your views in the house.

This is a magic spot to get away from it all and a great base to explore the region, including Walkerville, Cape Liptrap and Wilsons Prom. Bear gully beach is 1 km away with one of Victoria’s best walks heading back to Walkerville South. In fact search “Cape Liptrap” on the Parks Victoria Website and you may be lucky enough to book a Rock Pool Ramble in Cape Liptrap National and Marine Park. This is a walk that begins in the early evening at Bear Gully, and walk with a Marine Ranger for a close look at marine plants and animals found on rock platforms. The “Magic Beach” at Walkerville South was nominated Victorias best beach and is only 3 km away. This very sheltered beach is out of the wind and perfect for swimming, canoeing, water skiing, diving, fishing and much more.

Binyara Coastal Retreat is located on Bear Gully Rd just 3 km from Walkerville South, 185 km south east of Melbourne and approximately 2 hrs drive. It is one of the most southern properties on the Australian Mainland so the air is very clean as it comes from Bass Straight and below.

Take the South Gippsland Highway via Cranbourne to Korumburra, Leongatha and then turn 5km after Koonwarra to Tarwin Lower C443, At Tarwin Lower turn left to Walkerville until you come to the cape Liptrap Walkerville South rd, take this and follow it towards Walkerville South (do not turn onto the cape Liptrap rd) You will travel a few km and come across Bear Gully rd, take this for 2.3 km and you will turn into a farm gate with Binyara on the gate

The house has a large open plan kitchen living area with windows all around looking over the Prom, Bass Straight, cattle grazing, and natural bush and wildlife with doors spilling out to a large lawn and many acres to walk, ride a bike or enjoy the solitude. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, dishwasher, microwave, and views. 2xTV, DVD, CD, potbelly wood fire.
