Description

Designed as three timber pavilions this gorgeous holiday home features an elevated living pavilion at street level with a bedroom pavilion and pool house/guest accommodation below. Building this home as his own, leading Australian architect Bruce Rickard has incorporated his signature use of exposed structural trusses, central fireplace and built in bench seating along the perimeter walls.

The living pavilion has lots of open space, the rooms have been tastefully presented and the lap-pool is beckoning.

There is always something new to look at ... the light on the trees, the movement of the wind and boats on the water, the moon, the wildlife.

Be inspired as decades of holiday-makers have been by the grandeur, peace and tranquility of the Ku-ring-gai Chase National Park - fishing, bushwalking, kayaking, fine dining, boating, relaxing.

Just 45 minutes from the Sydney CBD, the property is a short walk to the Cottage Point Inn, the Cottage Point Kiosk and the Kur-ring-gai Motor Yacht Club, this is a wonderful place to unwind and spend some quality time away.

I had a great time at treetops with my friends! We sat on the fantastic deck looking out on the water with a glass of wine and some great food, BBQ on the deck, and felt a million miles away from the city stress! The house is roomy and very comfortable and the pool very inviting!! This was my second visit and I will be back again!! It's so close to the city and yet so far away from care!

We have just returned from 2 fantastic days at Treetops. The house is beautiful and had everything we needed for the weekend. Beautiful weather, beautiful views and a great house with no kids - just we needed to recharge the batteries. We didn't leave the house all weekend!!!

We look forward to going back again and enjoying the pool next time.

Such a gem of a place for a quick escape away from everyday life. Despite the constant rain over the weekend the spectacular accommodating home overlooking the river and bushland made our weekend still an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend it to anyone wanting to unwind but still have everthing at their finger tips! Will definitely come back in summer.

My wife and I stayed at Treetops for a weekend in August with my inlaws from Hong Kong.

They were blown away by how out of the city it felt after such a short drive. We had a magical lunch at Cottage Point Inn which I would thoroughly recommend. The house was great and the fireplace was a welcome addition during winter.

We will definitely be returning in the summer to make use of the beautiful pool.
