Guest Reviews

  • "My wife and I stayed for 11 days. Terrific place, quiet location yet within walking distance to shops and very easy to get to places from. We arrived late at night, lights and heater were on and food in the fridge. Heat was appreciated by us Darwinites. Thanks Rachel for all your thoughtfulness. We hope to stay again when in Tasmania next year. Tony&Bev"

  • "The house was exactly what we were looking for, close to the football, shops, restaurants and just a couple of minutes from the centre of Launceston. All required amenities were provided, the house is very clean, well looked after and the heater works a treat! We will definitely make a return visit."

  • "The house was fantastic! Great location to Launceston. Great personal touches like fresh flowers and the kids loved the Easter Eggs. The beds were probably the best I have ever slept in for any type of guest accommodation, probably even better than mine at home! Good value for money and would definitely stay again and again. Thanks, Rachel for making it so homely :)"

  • "Awesome place to stay. Just like home. A little out of the city centre so having your own transport helps."

  • "My family of four enjoyed our stay in this pretty cottage on a quiet street a five minute drive from downtown Launceston. When we walked inside we were really impressed with the decor. The furnishings, appliances, kitchenware and linen are all top quality and we slept well in the comfy beds. I would not hesitate to return for another stay. The owners were very pleasant to deal with, and Launceston and the surrounding area offer many interesting things to do. In nearby Invermay Road you'll find a wonderful German butcher, a fruit market and some great op-shops. We wished we had allowed a few extra days in our schedule."

  • " Very clean and tidy property. Rachel was extremely helpful, my daughter and her family really appreciated that the lights and heaters were on for their 9pm arrival. I would recommend this property "

  • "We had a great stay in the house it catered for everything we required plus more. We will return to Tasmania in a year or so to complete what we waned to do and will definitely look at returning to the Invermay Holiday house. Thank you once again for the opportunity to use your wonderful house, more like a home than a house. "
