WOW :) My family had an awesome time staying at Rural Retreat. The house was clean and had a real home feel to it. Our 6 year old had a ball going exploring & I think our dog loved it even more :) We did not want to leave. Thanks Mike & Megan for allowing us to stay at such a lovely place.

What a great place! The house is nestled into the bush and adjacent to a field that fills up with kangaroos on a very quiet road. Its still only 5 minutes to Yallingup Beach and is in the middle of the wineries. The house itself has everything you could want, is well laid out / spacious and perfect for families and romantic couples. Well be back.

What a wonfderful return trip. We stayed at the house last year and returned with overseas visitng family to show off the spoils of the region! There was no going home. Leisurely coffee on the verandah with beautiful memories to last a liftime. This place has it all and throughly recommended for any potential guest in need of R&R and value for money. Awesome. 10/10

I really didn't like it!
We had a wonderful time at rural Retreat. The house is so homely and clean and the kids had a ball exploring in the bush looking for firewood and watching the kangaroos as well as playing bocce. Such a relaxing place and well equipped with everything you could need. The fire was a welcome relief from the chill of winter. Thankyou Mike and Megan you provide a wonderful house for holidays and we would love to visit again very soon.

What a lovely house! Equipped with everything you could possibly need. So central to both Dunsborough and Yallingup... a very quick drive for fish and chips on the beach at sunset. Very peaceful apart from the occasional car on the road running past the back of the house. Excellent value for myself and my partner with a young baby... who was very happy in her own room and supplied portacot. Thank you Megan and Mike for our break from the norm.

Loved it so much the first time we had to go back again. Landscape looked very different to wintertime, but equally as stunning. The location couldn't be more perfect and the house is extremely well equipped, very comfortable and relaxing.

A beautiful and well presented house. Very clean.
Perfect for a family.
The decking invites to sit and relax while the kids can play in the bush, climb trees and watch the wildlife.
Highly recommend it.

A wonderful place for a family holiday. An extremely well presented property with everything you might need for a great holiday and set in a quiet, idyllic rural landscape that is within a stone's throw of everything that is great about the south west of the State. Close to wineries, restaurants, tourist attractions and some of the best beaches on offer in WA. Highly recommended.
