Description

Private with spectacular views. 5 to 10 minute walk to cafes and bakery. Ideal setting for couples and families. Fully self contained. Very comfortable 3 bedroom house. Main bedroom has queen bed and ensuite. Second bedroom has a double bed. Third bedroom has 2 sets of bunks. Large wood fire with two split heating\'cooling systems.

Activities

Walk to the river, cafes and shops. Bring your bikes and make use of the rail trail or aquaduct trails in the area. Feed the local parrots and cockatoos from the balcony. Enjoy a game of table tennis or pinball in the large games room. Enjoy a variety of board games, toys or books in front of the fire. There is plenty of room for children to play in the back yard; with a sandpit, play area and lots of grass to run on.

Nearby Attractions

Drive up to Mt Donna Buang, bushwalk or use or free toboggans in winter. Stop off at Skywalk, a 17m high, 40m long aerial walkway through the giant mountain ash trees. Visit nearby wineries. Visit the huge Ada tree reserve. Exstensive bushwalking and cycling options for all ages and abilities.

"We had a very comfortable relaxing stay at currawong house. The board games and many books were fantastic keeping the kids & adults amused and we loved toasting marshmallows near the fireplace. Many colourful birds would often appear on the balcony and the views were beautiful after a long day riding on the warburton rail trail. Very friendly helpful owners. We would love to come back again soon."

"We have an all girls few days in Warburton every year - this was the first time we had stayed at Currawong Holiday House. It was great - everything we needed - kitchen so well equipped - beds comfortable - lovely living room - plenty of games to play - ideal for a range of ages and ours went from 21 to 70 - and the eldest could have her own room which was great! Balcony and view lovely and birds that visit gave us great delight. We hope to return next year = God willing. And the owners bent over backwards to help out with every query. Highly recommended."
