Guest Reviews

  • "The hosts were very friendly and helpful. Angela makes a great breakfast. The rooms were lovely."

  • "I have visited many places in Australia, but have never come across the hospitality of Angela and Rob. After visiting Bellview Hill in October 08, I took my parents up for a long weekend. This time we stayed for dinner. Being the festive season this time around, Angela cooked up a wonderful Christmas fare. The presentation and taste of each of the courses was an amazing experience and the local wines made the feast more pleasurable. My parents enjoyed their stay and the area surrounding Loch. We visitied some of the local wineries recommended by our hosts and had a wonderful time in the Gippsland area. Picking fresh rasberries from the farm was a great experience as was the home cooked rasberry jam Angela made for breakfast the next morning. Thanks again for another lovely experience at your homestead. Recommended to any travellers looking to escape Melbourne for the weekend. Enjoy Angela's home style cooking. I recommend the pancakes. Cheers Jeff"

  • "Bellview Hill was beyond my expectations. The hosts were cheery and friendly people with a genuine interest in their guests. The rooms in the main homestead were lusciously decorated and the bed was absolutely divine. The bed alone would make me come back...but the views....spectacular. I had such a wonderful time in Loch and will be back again. Recommended for anyone wishing to get out in the country. I wish I had stayed for dinner as I have heard the food is fantastic.Cheers."
