Description

The Beach House is most suitable for people seeking a passive and peaceful environment in a natural setting, close to beach. It is a comfortable 3 bedroom home set in a quiet bush setting, occasionally you may find a koala or two in the gums in the front of the property or the reserve behind. The 3 bedrooms are upstairs with a separate toilet and bathroom. The living area is downstairs, open plan with lounge, dining and kitchen, separate toilet and shower.
Just walk across the road for a swim on Home beach or Flinders Beach on the other side of Adder Rock. Throw out a line or watch the beautiful sunset from this small headland. Have a nice stroll in the other direction to Cylinder beach to one of the most popular patrolled surf beaches on the island.
Friendly caretaker living in a totally independant flat attached to house to collect keys.

Where to go

Point Lookout has spectacular surfing beaches and stunning headland walks. The perfect place to see dolphins surfing with the local surfers, turtles and manta rays, all are often seen from the North Gorge Headlands. Watch the Humpback Whales during their annual migration from June to November.

A drive to visit the beautiful Blue Lake with its crystal clear water and Brown Lake with pure white sand and clear water stained brown with tannin. While in Dunwich visit the historical museum to learn of the interesting aboriginal and early settlement, shipwrecks and an insight into the island's past.

Also a drive to Amity Point a popular fishing spot or to buy some fresh local fish crabs or prawns from the local boys.
