This house and property is one of the best I have been to in a long time. Absolutly breath taking views and such a beautiful house - we didn't want to leave! The house is very well maintained - everything you need is there and Gloucester is only a five minute drive to buy any thing extra you may need. Our favorite was relaxing in the spa overlooking the beautiful hills - and the canoeing! Such a beautiful place, a credit to Bev and Adrian!

What a fantastic place. Definitely recommend it to any Sydneysiders wanting a weekend away from the city. The views are amazing of the surrounding hills, the sunset from the spa is a highlight. There's a great walk (if you have a dog it's paradise!) down to a river bank where we picked some fresh oranges and lemons. We woke up early this morning as the valleys were shrouded in mist and the sun rose above it. Another plus, a family Italian restaurant down the hill, just bring a torch and stagger back after stuffing your face with great food. Bev and Adrian are great hosts at Dam It, very laid back. Looking forward to going back soon.

What a perfect get-away for a long weekend! Very generous and welcoming accomodation with breath-taking views which made it hard to actually go out for the day rather than to just stay by the spacious pool and relax. As promised in the property description, it's all there, so all one has to do is arrive and enjoy. Definitely made it on to my list of favourite places to go to!

Great house, great view. We especially loved the outdoor spa, perfect for wintery nights. The location is very quiet and private looking out onto rolling hills. Gloucester is close by if you need to get supplies. Our weekend went very smoothly with no hiccups. Adrian and Bev are very friendly and accommodating. Would be good in summer too with the nice pool. Thanks again for having us!

If we could give 5 1/2 stars we would! We had the most wonderful time here and not only was the accomodation of the highest standard but the hosts Bev and Adrian were the icing on the cake. What a pleasure to meet such accomodating and genuine people. After a lovely walk to the river and a paddle in the canoe, our day was topped off with a swim in the pool and a soak in the hot tub whilst taking in the amazing views of the valley. Our border collies did not want to leave!! Thank you both for a wonderful holiday - we will be back.

Our family of 5 absolutely enjoyed ourselves at Dam it Getaway. There was so much to do for young and old!
The house is beautifully designed and decorated with the finest luxuries. The magnificent views of an everchanging landscape were a delight to behold. Our teenagers said it was the best of their holidays this Xmas as they liked the canoing on the river, bike riding, swimming in the pool, the outdoor spa and of course the plasma TV for watching their DVDs when night falls. Exploring the farm was great .
We will be recommending this lovely Stay to all of our friends.

We were lucky to choose Dam It Getaway as a place to explore Gloucester area. The house is well positioned not far from a Kia Ora lookout and feels like you stay in the lookout itself with lovely views to the valleys all around.
It was perfect for the five of us with its three generous bedrooms and spacious living area.
Thanks Bev and Adrian - very relaxing for a Sydneysider!

Dam it Get Away is divine, with the 360º views of the rolling hills and mountains, you could spend days just watching the clouds and colours change. The private salt water swimming pool and spa also have an incredible outlook across the property. The house is immaculate!
Bev and Adrian are helpful and friendly hosts who were flexible and accommodating. If you are looking for a relaxing place to get away from it all on your own or with a group, Dam it Get Away has plenty of things to do for any energy level. Our stay was relaxing and enjoyable; I would recommend it to anyone. Well be back!
