The \"River Retreat\" comfortably accomodates 4 - 6 persons in two bedrooms (1QS and 2SB - Bunkbeds) plus Queen size Sofa bed.
All the comforts of home are provided, modern kitchen and bathroom, polished floors and comfortable lounge and chairs overlooking the marvellous Hawksbury River in air conditioned comfort.
Enjoy the riverfront lifestyle, where you can fish, enjoy BBQs on the front deck, go bush walking through the native bushland or just laze around.
There are many local restaurants within an easy boat trip, the well known restaurant \"Peats Bite\" can be seen from the front deck and is only minutes across the river.
Mooney Mooney is the stepping off point to the Hawksbury River and is accessed by the F3 ( approximately 1 hour 15 minutes from Sydney).
There is a boatramp with parking for both your car and boat trailer, just after crossing the Hawksbury River Bridge from Sydney turn left and proceed approximately 200 metres to a roundabout, turn left and proceed to the boat ramp.
Using either the water taxi service or your own boat, \"River Retreat\" is just 15 minutes from the boat ramp.
Alternatively there is a public ferry(The Riverboat Postman), departing Brooklyn, Monday - Friday at 09:30am to Bar Point.
Additionally, there is a water taxi & \"tinnie\" hire service from the boat ramp, ask owner for details.

. Personal repellant, sunscreen, sunhat, sunglasses.
. Fishing rods, bait and net, etc...
. We recommend that you use \"Green Plastic Bags\" to bring your food and equipment in, as they take up less room on the boat trip and in the house.
