This spacious, modern apartment is only 10 minutes from the CBD. It is on transport, both train and bus, with a short, flat, 5 minute stroll to both. The apartment building has recently been completely carpeted and painted inside and has secure access. It is in a green leafy area of Chatswood with 2 parks nearby and close to supermarkets, shopping malls, restaurants, cinemas, medical centres and banks.
The apartment is equivalent to a 4/5 star hotel and is on the fourth floor. It is impeccably clean and secure and faces north east with sunlight streaming in. There is no damp. It was recently renovated in armani colours, taupe and chocolate and it has a nice feeling.
The bedroom is spacious with two new king singles which can also be locked together to form a huge king size bed.
There is an ensuite/powderoom, tiled in warm travetine and has a large shower.
The laundry is internal, not shared and has a new washing machine and dryer.
The lounge room/dining room opens to the balcony and has a new couch and chaise and a plasma tv and dvd player, plus books, magazines etc.
The kitchen, not kitchenette has room to move and is fully equipped with a new stove, microwave, and large fridge.
The people who stayed loved the location and the convenience of everything. They loved the spaciousness, the extra comfortable beds, the security, the choice of either train or bus transport with the train coming from the airport.
We've all experienced uncomfortable beds and noise and most of us were unprepared.
My worst stay was during the Olympics 2000 where we were put up in a hotel in York Street in the city, I didn't sleep at all. Not only was the bed uncomfortable but police sirens screamed the whole night. Since that episode I will no longer stay where there is noise through the night, whether it be nightly garbage collections from restaurants or busy roads.
Chatswood is the CBD of the affluent North Shore. It is a classy, safe, vibrant, cosmopolitan area with lots of restaurants and shops. It is only 10 minutes by car to the city or 15 minutes by train on the north shore line not the Strathfield line.
It has the two major department stores, Myers and David Jones, the discount stores of Target and Kmart and many, many, boutique shops.
It is perfect for people visiting Australia for family reunions, they have their independence, it is perfect for those attending seminars at UTS, it is so close.
Buses go to the northern beaches, Taroonga Zoo, Balmoral Beach, Bondi Beach or into the city.
The apartment is self catering and is fully equipped with a full kitchen. Luxury linen and bedding are supplied, No need to bring your own. Also hand towels, towels and tea towels and a resident hairdryer.
The apartment building is secure with entry from both the foyer and the car park by way of a pass key. Being on the 4th floor you always feel safe.
Real milk, coffee, tea, sugar and biscuits are provided for your arrival.
The weekly rental is $960 which is $137 per night or if you stay less than 7 days the rental is $160 per night.
We do not put our prices up and down, they are the same all year round so please book early.
It's so easy to book. You just need to hit the red BOOK NOW at the top right hand corner both below and above the calendar. We accept direct deposit, cheque or money order. We do not accept credit cards as we can't afford their charges.
