  • "An excellent set up in quiet and scenic aurrounds, with all requirements catered for. The cottage is well-designed with all modern aspects, and nothing has been left out - including the fabulous food provided for our stay. The large bath and panoramic view was certainly a highlight."

  • "Perfect location for a secluded, private & romantic get-away. Gorgeous surroundings, both inside and out. The 'retreat' we stayed in, was beautifully appointed, with a lot of thoughtful extras that you wouldn't normally expect. Enough yummy local produce was provided for at least 2 breakfast's. Can't wait to visit again! "

  • "Somewhere Unique is exactly that. Having stayed in many very nice places this would have to be one of the most special. Once you arrive you'll expereince an immediate sense of peace and relaxation. Everything and more is waiting for you. One could quite simply leave the office and head straight there. It's beautifully appointed, luxurious and spotlessy clean with lot's of little treats and surprises. Can't wait to go back. "

  • "Comfortable and easy place to stay. Loved all the personal touches like the homemade bread(which was delicious, by the way), mini bar, chocolates, candles, games, magazines & DVD's & mountain bikes. Very well appointed and stylish. Relaxing environment, secluded & very comfortable. A perfect getaway. Would love to come back in winter to use the fireplace."

  • "It is all in the name... Wonderful place to "hide away" from the busy city life. Perfect for couples for quality time. Somewhere Unique provided everything and the bathtub was BLISS!!! Highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing get away or romatic short break. My partner and i didnt want to leave!!"

  • "An absolutely beautiful and private retreat. The attention to detail was second to none. Our only regret was that we weren't staying longer. we will definitely return."
    Cinzia, January 2011

  • "We spent the easter long weekend at Somewhere Unique. Besides being the most relaxing place we have ever stayed, the execution and attention to detail was faultless!! From the HUGE relaxing batroom and atmosphere to having a well supplied kitchen to cook up a storm! Every little thing was perfect. This has to be the cleanest and most well thought out couples/self contained accommodation we have come across!! We will be back!!"
    Robyn, May 2010

  • "Our stay at somewhere unique was fanstatic, we loved the atmosphere and decor. The BBQ Pack was a brilliant addition as we arrived late in the evening and didn't have time to organise food. Being able to start the BBQ straight away and have a delicious dinner with a glass of wine was a delight. We will definately be coming back again soon!"
    Olivia, March 2010

  • "Somewhere Unique lived up to expectations and then some. Idyllic surroundings, decadent luxury and enough remoteness to ensure your privacy - what more could you ask for? The images on the website really don't do the property justice, you need to see it to believe it. Somewhere Unique is - quite simply - somewhere unique. Like many other couples we set off from Sydney for a weekend of romance and relaxation and that is exactly what we got. Close enough to visit all the wineries easily, yet remote enough to truly relax. The perfect destination for our weekend and the perfect location for a wedding proposal, of course I said YES! Our warmest gratitude to Michelle and Grant - thank you for your hospitality, we will be back! "
    Cathy & John, July 2009

  • "What a wonderful place! My partner is accustomed to the finer things in life and he was initially nervous when I said I would organise a break for us (on my budget). Well, he was as stunned as I. The accommodation was spotlessly clean, every detail was thought of (oil burner + oil), the privacy and peace .... It was the best time and money I have spent in a long time!"
    Michelle, April 2009
