Location

Kingscote is a very convenient place from which to explore Kangaroo Island because it is central to all the Island's great attractions.

Our Holiday Units and Cottages are situated close to the main shopping and dining locations and just a few blocks back from the seaside swimming pool.

Local Attractions

Get back to nature by visiting sites such as Seal Bay Conservation Park; Flinders Chase National Park which includes Rocky River, Admirals Arch, Weirs Cove and Remarkable Rocks; and Kelly Hill Caves. Look out over majestic oceans from the Lighthouses at Cape Willoughby and and Cape Borda.

Enjoy the wildlife at the spectacular Raptor Domain, Parndana Wildlife Park and Pauls Place, or visit the queen at Cliffords Honey Farm and Island Beehive.

Many other cottage industries on the Island add to the entertainment such as Emu Ridge Eucalyptus Distillery, Island Pure Sheep Dairy, and discover the many talented artists living here by visiting the various galleries.

Discover colourful history of the Island at the Hope Cottage Museum in Kingscote, the Soldier Settlement Museum in Parndana and the Maritime Museum at Penneshaw.

For those seeking a more adventurous component to your visit try a marine speed boat activity, scuba diving, or get down and dirty on quad bikes and have a little sand-boarding fun.

Scattered around the Island are several wineries offering tastings/light meals. Kingscote has the best range for evening dining with menu's to suit all palates.

Don't be fooled in to thinking you can come for 2 days and see it all!! There are enough activities here to fill several days! A minimum stay of 3-4 nights is recommended to take in the major sites and add to this if you really want a more in depth look at what this Island paradise has to offer.
