  • "Such a wonderful A1 experience...comfortable but simple cottage with all the thoughtful extra's that makes one feel nutured and peaceful. A walk in the vineyard and the rose garden is the icing on the cake. Indeed a find. "

  • "We can truly recommend the Summerwind for a stress free and relaxing holiday. The cottage and surrounds are truly beautiful and make for a very special time. Highly recommended, we look forward to future stays."
    Carmel, January 2010

  • "Summerwind is lovely updated old house that is set in the heart of the wineries in the Margaret River region. We had a lovely stay and will most definately come back."
    Cameron, August 2009

  • "The wind blew the rain came down, but we were cosy in the lovely cottage. At last a holiday rental that has a "real home" feel. Thanks for a great break."
    Lisa, August 2009

  • "Beautifully maintained in a great setting, the cottage is everything we expected and more. Having travelled light out of necessity we were delighted to find the cottage fully equipped down to the smallest detail. The CDs, DVDs, books, magazines, Glad wrap and even sandwich bags all made it a true home away from home. This is definitely our first choice whenever we return to this part of the world. "
    Martin, June 2009

  • "We spent 2 very relaxing nights at the Summerwind, with my parents over from the UK. The owners have done a fantastic job of creating this little oasis and should be applauded for the standard of the facility. We found everything we needed was there and of a very good quality. Many thanks."
    Colin, May 2009

  • "My husband and I along with another couple stayed at Summerwind Cottage for 4days between Xmas and New Year and had a wonderful break in this delightful cottage. It was very well located for all the attractions in the area and very peaceful to return to after a day out and enjoy a drink on the veranda or in the lounge overlooking the dam and vineyard. The cottage certainly is comfortable stylish and very well equipped. We would highly recommend a stay at Summerwind but might suggest the accommodation is more suited to adults rather than children"
    Eileen, January 2009

  • "What a wonderful place to stay! Lovely homely feel with every convenience and fine attention to detail that you could possibly need to enjoy a relaxing break. The grounds are just gorgeous with an abundance of birds and, at night, a delightful chorus of frogs. Summerwind's wine is a also further added 'all too easy to drink' benefit. Would like to keep it our secret but must also highly recommend. Fantastic! We will be back."
    Sally, January 2009

  • "This was a gorgeous property in a gorgeous location. Perfect for families or a couple looking for a romantic getaway. I could not fault this cottage in any aspects. So serene and beautiful. I would highly recommend it to anyone!!"
    Shane, January 2009

  • "Everything about this place is superb. We cannot wait to return and would recommend the peaceful and serene nature of the cottage and surrounds to anyone. If we could rate higher than 5 we would do so. Close to towns and great wineries, great for wildlife spotting, beautifully appointed, spacious, tastefully decorated and restored, this cottage will amaze you. A week seems like a month here."
