Guest Reviews

  • "Beautifully appointed home with all the mod cons to make life enjoyable. Restful view over the water - breakfast on the deck was a "must". Excellent library and selection of games to while away the time when the weather was inclement. Kayaks a great bonus to encourage exploration of the Bay. We all had a great time and are planning our next stay. "

  • "Great place in a beautiful part of the world. The house is amazing and all the appointments provided made our stay there most comfortable. The pool table and kayaks kept our teenagers busy and Riley's Bay and the local Soldier Crabs totally exhausted our dog. We totally enjoyed our stay and will definately go back."

  • "My friends and I would definately recommend people to stay at Riley's Retreat as it is an absolutely beautiful and clean home that really does have everything. The view from the deck is lovely and it is a great place to sit, enjoy the breeze and have a BBQ. There are plenty of books, music, movies and board games to go through. We've all improved our skills at pool and had a hilarious time kayaking during our stay. The owners are wonderful and were so helpful. Thank you for a great stay. I'm already thinking of going there again!"

If you want somewhere just to sit ,relax, read & enjoy the view from the deck or be active, Rileys retreat will suit all ages. The great sunny weather was an added bonus. A real find!"

  • "A lovely house, with so many carefully thought out personal touches to make us welcome. The house had everything we could have hoped for, including plenty of space for 7 people and 2 dogs. Very peaceful location. Thank you for a very enjoyable family weekend."

  • "Just wanted to say how much of a great weekend we had. Rileys Retreat is AMAZING... It had everything that we needed and more, comfy beds, great linen, well equiped kitchen with breath taking views and so much to offer from movies, board games and pool table to bikes and kayaks. I would recommend this 100%. Thanks guys "

  • "What makes this accomodation so special is that it has everything for a summer or winter break. On our winter return we made good use of the library of books, games, DVD's and partook in a few mean games of pool! Plus love the giant bath..... Good heating kept us warm and cosy and that view says it all. If you want privacy and relaxation and a real home equipped with everything this is the place for you."

  • "We had a really lovely stay and will definately be back. The house felt like a home with personal touches that made the our short break more enjoyable. The pool table, rooms and BBQ were just fantastic and the beautiful and peaceful view from the deck just added to the all round relaxation. Our dog Judy loved it too! Thanks very much and we'll definately be back - this time for longer. "

  • "Not your normal run of the mill holiday property. From the moment you walk in you know you are going to have a relaxing break. A beautiful, tranquil, spot overlooking the water and the feel of the home is very welcoming. The owners leave no stone unturned and provide you with little unexpected extras which make your stay that bit more special. We would definitely recommended this property highly and if have the opportunity would go again."

  • "Time poor professionals from Sydney drove up to Rileys Retreat for some much needed down time. And it was the perfect getaway. From the personal handwritten notes on arrival, to the breathtaking views - this well equipped and welcoming holiday home was exactly what we were looking for. The seclusion is perfect, although you are not too far away from shops and amenities. We'll be back for sure! "
