Description

Idyllic country retreat sleeping from 4 to 18 people.
Set on 50 acres of bush land offering complete privacy, great walking tracks and only a short drive to wineries, famous Gippspland cheeses and food trail, Yarragon antique stores, tennis, golf and horse riding.

This country home has been recently renovated offering:
- large open plan living area with fireplace
- 1 queen room with ensuite
- 2 double rooms
- 1 twin
- a double futon in the main lounge. A single mattress and single trundle bed are also available on request.

Only a short distance from the main house is a separate barn with 2 double beds. The barn has basic kitchen facilities and a shower and toilet in a closeby outhouse (approx 10m). It is available for separate hire on request.

Natural streams and an abundance of wildlife on the property.

Only 1 hour from Melbourne and close (10min drive) to thriving local town of Warragul.

Turn up, switch off, relax and enjoy some quality time with your partner, kids and friends.

  • "We had our pre Christmas family get together at Brogui Park and had the most wonderful time. 8 Adults, 2 teenagers and 2 children and we didn't want for anything during our stay. Even though the weather was not fantastic we still went for lovely walks and enjoyed watching the creek after the heavy rain. Relaxing listening to the rain on the tin roof in the tool shed accommodation. The birds were friendly and one even ate from our hands, they were the most beautiful colored birds we have seen. We hardly went inside the house, choosing to spend all our time in the out door area and around a great big camp fire. The children toasting marshmallows, making damper and anything else they could cook on the open fire. Leisurely morning breakfasts cooked on the open fire never tasted so good. What a great venue, something for everyone and what made it even more special was just being together and enjoying each others company, experiencing different things (even the teenagers had fun). A very low stress weekend, no having to get up early and rush off and we were only 1.5 hours from home. We felt like we had been away a week and it was only 2 days. Thankyou to all involved with Brogui."

  • "We had a group of guys down for a 'Bucks' weekend away. Absolutely fantastic place with everything you need and more. Had fun in my 4x4, 3 camp fires going and BBQ made for a great night. Only an 1.5hrs away from Melbourne and your in your own world but if you need supplies for only 15min from town. Great dealing with the owners and had a good old chat over a couple of beers. Could not recommend this place highly enough for a mates weekender or family get away (Kids would have a ball. "

  • "Just a note to tell you we had a great time at your lovely Brogui Park. The house was charming and we made great use of the outside areas sitting in the afternoon sun. Bird feeding and watching was fun, and many photos were taken. The park was a very nice retreat for all of us and we will be sure to go back again, maybe in the winter so we can charge up the combustion stove and fire. The hostesses were really lovely and friendly too. Thanks"

  • "What a find! It is a challenge to find a weekend stay big enough for five couples. We were lucky enough to discover Brogui Park - a little over one hour away from home. The house is just perfect - a home away from home. We especially loved the covered outdoor area with the bbq and fireplace, great for those nights sitting around the table with good food, wine and great company. There are great walking tracks on the property, the gardens are beautiful and the view from the verandah is so picturesque with the stand of magnificent gums and the dam in the background. We would all recommend Brogui Park as a perfect weekend getaway location."

Loved finding yabbies in the dam, playing on the big swing and having a bonfire. The house is very well set up with everything we needed and lots of spots to enjoy the sunshine. Thank you."
