Isolated in a sense, on a rural farm, yet still close enough to get the essentials required for your private self-contained stay.
Just a 40 minute drive to almost anywhere on the Island.
Seal Bay, Emu Bay, Kingscote, Stokes Bay, American River and Penneshaw are an easy drive from Cygnet River, but please allow one day to explore Flinders Chase (Western End) as driving distance is 1.5 hour.
Delightful, comfortable Kangaroo Island accommodation in a gentle bushland setting. Pavilions is the ideal place to stay for a couple or small family (sleeps 5).
Pavilions sits out-of-the-way in a paddock, hugged by a winter creek. Its lower-level cottage features provincial queen bed, spacious bathroom/laundry, two additional bedrooms, AC and fans, and large outdoor decking with BBQ. A well-appointed kitchen, open plan living and dining area, and r/c AC feature in the upper-level cottage. Recycled Tasmanian Oak floorboards and modern furnishings feature throughout.
Pavilions is quality accommodation, unique in its design and private, and is a great place to unwind after a full day of sightseeing.

Testimonial: Pavilions (Mar 2011): The Pavilions has been the best accommodation on our trip in Australia. It's really a very comfortable house and our stay has been very pleasant. It's a shame we cannot stay longer. We have watched a lot of kangaroos, wallabies, possum and an echidna around. Birdlife is also fantastic!

Cygnet River Retreat is perfect for families of 2 to 6 people (Qu, 2 sgl, dbl), and is recommended for stays of 3 to 7 nights. A double sofa bed is available in a fourth bedroom for up to two extra people.
