Description

Visiting family or friends in the Bayside area? Or just planning a holiday and wanting to have a home away from home.
Our property is located in Cheltenham and is a short walk to Cheltenham or Mentone shops and train stations. Melbourne CBD is only 25 minutes away and the beach is less than a 5 minute drive and you could be in the wineries of the Mornington Peninsula in just over an hour. A perfect location for those relocating or visiting.
Our single storey house compromises polished floorboards throughout and has two bedrooms, one with a king size bed which can split into two singles ,the other with two single beds. There is also a fully equipped kitchen ,separate dining room for six and a lounge with a two seater and three seater couch which converts to a double fold out bed. As well as this there is a newly renovated bathroom with shower and bath and the second bedroom has its own separate toilet. Outside is a large private courtyard with outdoor furniture. There is also a fully equipped laundry and carport. The house has air conditioning and ducted heating. All linen, towels and doona's are provided.Just a perfect place for those extended stays.
Wireless Internet access(with download limits) included in stays over a week.Available for shorter stays at an extra charge.Please contact the owner regarding your needs.
A portable cot and high chair are available on request.

  • "What a lovely warm and cosy house. Our family of 5 stayed for 7 nights in March 2011, and enjoyed every minute. Great location to train it into town ( about 30 min ride). Mentone shops and restaurants 5 min drive, and even went swimming on lovely Mentone Beach. 5 min drive to Westfield Shopping Centre and Cinemas. Kids loved sleeping in the same room together, and thought the "secret door" was wonderful. Wireless internet a bonus and owners more than helpful and very quick to respond to any communication. Would deft recommend and cant wait to return ! Thank you Booker House. "

We stayed for a two week holiday in July and found the Booker House to be very neat, clean and comfortable with fantastic beds and luxurious linen. We arrived to a freshly baked chocolate cake and complimentary tea, coffee, bread and more. The whole experience was a delightful one and we will definately stay again. (Maybe a romantic break without the kids next time):)"

Every little detail has been thought of from providing the most comfortable beds (which you desperately need after that day long shopping spree!!) to the beautiful quality bed linen you'll be sleeping on. Not to mention the wonderful home baked lemon cake waiting for us upon arrival to have with that much anticipated cup of tea after a day of travelling across the country (literally!!) Well positioned, you have a wealth of restaurants and eatery's around the Cheltenham/Sandringham/Hampton areas or you can use the fantastically appointed kitchen to whip up a home cooked storm! The wonderful surrounding street quiet, birdsong and garden make you feel nothing but home! We'll be back as soon as we can! "
