Guests can enjoy the peace and tranquility sitting outside on the patio or inside among the brightly coloured artworks that adorn the walls. Furnished in a contemporary style, Lime Cottage features all the comforts of home including
-a queen-size bed and private en suite,
-fully screened with lockable security screen door
-sofa and coffee table,
-microwave, fridge, hot-plate, crockery/cutlery/cooking utensils, toaster and tea and coffee-making facilities)
-Scandinavian paddle stairs up to a loft which holds a single bed (suitable for an extra adult or child 6 years or older.)

The local area

The cottage is situated on a 11.5 acre property nestled between sugarcane farms. The outlook is tranquil and relaxing with tropical gardens planted with gingers, halyconias, palms, bamboo and other rainforest trees. We have 2 geese, chooks, 3 cows and a few Wiltshire Horn sheep.
Take a walk to nearby Oaks Beach for swimming, snorkeling or fishing . Visit during November to January to watch the giant turtles lay their eggs on this beach or at Mon Repos. The Port of Bundaberg, its marina and the delicious Baltimores Restaurant is minutes away. Bargara Beach and its many restaurants and diving is only a short 7 minutes drive away, Bundaberg 12 minutes and Brisbane, a 4 hour drive.
