BYRON’S COUNTRY GARDEN
How’s this for an affordable uniquely Australian special treat?
Native animals are free to see.
Great photo opportunities.
Hop on a plane, hire a car or drive your own.
We’re only 40 minutes from Coolangatta/Gold Coast airport or Ballina Airport, so you have a choice of flights.
The bungalow nestles in it’s own 50 acre wildlife corridor, with 10 acres of Garden and Orchards.
It’s convenient, and centrally located, 10 minutes out of Mullumbimby, and a great base for a Bryon experience far from the madding crowd.
Secret gardens like this, dedicated to a love of nature and wildlife, and privately maintained, are so precious you might like to stay awhile, or longer.
Who knew Wallabies loved feasting on persimmon, plums and mandarins?
With so much delicious food growing in abundance the shy little Aussie animals and birds love it her.
The bush turkeys love to forage in our rain forest, where the lushness of the staghorns clustered up the tree trunks will take your breath away.
If you are tuned into amazing birdsong, or frogs or bats or bush walks, tree goannas, lizards or maybe even a koala, it’s another world. The echidnas a something special too.
Can’t say what you’ll see during your visit, because each day is unique.
The rainwater on tap is delicious, the air is pure, and the vast night sky, awesome.
When the nights are cool, you can curl up in front of the log fire.
As well as the well-publicised tourist attractions, we have a few suggestions that are a little bit different.
