Wave View Beach House is a modern fully-equipped holiday home situated at Scamander , on the sunny East Coast of Tasmania.
Enjoy surfing, swimming , body-boarding, golfing, fishing or long walks on the spectacular beach.
Take a short stroll to the local Scamander beach hotel where you can enjoy a relaxing drink before dinner at the restaurant.The local golf club also supplies good old fashioned home cooked meals at great prices,great for families.
Alternatively you can choose to barbecue on one of the decks at Wave View Beach House.
Scamander is centrally located on the East Coast and is a short 15 minute drive to St Helens and about 25-30 minutes to Binalong Bay , beautiful Bay of Fires beaches and The Gardens beaches.
An easy 40 minute drive south of Scamander will take you to Bicheno and numerous other beaches along the way.
Take a tour of the wild -life park at Bicheno.
You can enjoy surf fishing at most beaches and game fishing from St Helens (charters available from St Helens)
For the avid fishing people there is also fishing on the nearby Scamander River.
If you enjoy bushwalking there are plenty of places to explore in the East Coast hinterland.
Four Wheel Drive Tours, Surfing School, Scenic Flights are all available in the area.
