There is a tennis court across the road, a large children playground 400 metres away. Callala Beach has its own golf course so if you enjoy a game bring your clubs. The cycling is great fun because there are no hills and you can ride all day. There is also a Skate bowl for older children within a short drive at Callala Bay.

Callala Beach offers a tennis court, Post Office and General Store, cafe, petrol station, pizza restaurant, (all located opposite the playground/park) and the RSL Club with bistro.

Shopping at Callala Bay is a 5 minute drive away with IGA supermarket, 2 butchers, a chicken shop, hairdressers, homewares/gift shop, vet, chemist, 2 cafes, a pizza restaurant, an italian restaurant, hardware shop and a well stocked bottle shop open until 7pm. Across the road from the shops there is a sporting field including skate park, basketball/netball courts and soccer field. At the other end of Callala Bay there is also a public tennis court and a park with playground equipment is located near the boatramp.

Other areas of interest include Culburra Beach (surf beaches, 15 min drive), Currarong (surf beaches, 15 min), Nowra (20 min) or Huskisson (the home of the Dolphin and Whale Watch Cruises, 40 min). Just out of Currarong visit Honeymoon Bay or Longbeach.
