EXPERIENCE FRASER ISLAND

Eurong is central (and not tide relevant) to a number of most beautiful lakes (eg Lake McKenzie, Lake Wabby), lush rainforests (eg Central Station) and pure crystal clear creeks (eg palm and fern lined Wanggoolba Creek, and the numerous bushwalking trails. You can enjoy the beauty of the island ranging from desert-like sandblows, unique and awe-inspiring lakes, exploring the many scenic drives on the island, 4WD adventures, and along the eastern beach some attractions are Eli Creek, the shipwreck of the Maheno, Indian Head and Champagne Pools, the coloured sands and all the way to the lighthouse at the far northern tip of the island. During your stay you may get to experience and see some of the wonderful wildlife on the island including turtles, whales, dolphins, stingrays, sharks, dingoes (said to be Australia's purest), and the wonderful birdlife.
