Casa Cantamar is the true beach house experience. Newly renovated in an arty Santa Fe style this adobe home has an enormous entertainer's kitchen, beautiful decks front and back for soaking in that morning and afternoon sun. Walk across the street to enjoy one of the worlds best beaches, or stroll down one block to Moona Moona Creek and let the outgoing tide drift you gently out to sea. The cafes and attractions of Huskisson village are a relaxing 10 minute stroll along the beach. The house is family and group friendly - perfect for your next weekend or week away with friends - kids or not!


The house sleeps 10 people comfortably, with 3 large bedrooms and one small kids room with a loft bed and 2 bathrooms.
The main bedroom has its own private romantic balcony with views across the trees to Jervis Bay.

The house has 3 living areas, a large back deck with the option of gas BBQ or wood-fired pizza oven, a fabulous gourmet kitchen and a woodburning stove for cozy winter nights.

It is beautifully decorated with treasures from around the world and artworks by owner Tracy Verdugo and other prominent local and international artists.


Casa Cantamar is situated across the road from the beautiful shores of Huskisson beach and Moona Moona Creek.

Several mountain bikes are available and included in the tariff for your holiday use.

Mi Casa Su Casa

Casa Cantamar is the home of local artists and musicians Marco and Tracy Verdugo. It has been lovingly renovated over the past two years and is a true reflection of the creative expertise of its owners. It has a gorgeous organic feel with extensive use of adobe, glass blocks, large recycled beams from an old railroad bridge, and handpainted Mexican tiles.
In true Mexican fashion we are delighted to share our home with you and hope that you have a blissfully relaxing holiday here.
The house is supplied with magazines, books and games to enjoy on those rainy or chilly days when you would just rather stay in and curl up in front of the fire. There is even a fabulous dress up box for the kids to expore and a large trampoline for hours of fun!
The back garden is a sanctuary planted with seasonal flowers, citrus trees, guavas, olives and fragrant herbs. The perfect place to pull out one of the hammocks and lose yourself in a good book.

Privately Owned and Personally Maintained

Marco & Tracy will be onhand (in the studio at the rear of the property) for any tips and advice on the local area. You may also receive a visit from one of our three resident cats who are all very cuddly and friendly. Bodhi is a beautiful Birman male, Bella a gorgeous Somali girl and Gingy has the loudest purr we've ever heard. All of the cats are used to children and very friendly.
The house is perfect for your holiday in any season. If you are looking for a winter break the house has a wonderful fireplace which will be regularly stocked with firewood. The adobe architecture offers excellent thermal insulation and there are comfy doonas, lots of spare blankets and throws on the lounges that you can wrap around yourself as you enjoy a glass of wine on the deck gazing up at the stars and the fire flickering in the horno (adobe oven).
