This very private and original Australian beach house sleeps a family of eight comfortably. With two double and one bunk bedroom, two living areas (one with point blank water views) and huge fenced lawns making it ideal for the whole family and your dog.

You can survey it all from the comfort of your deck chair or kick back in the lounge all overlooking the lakes, your own sandy beach and neighbouring bush landscape.

Internal features include original 1940's kitchen fitted with a magnificent St George double oven + all the mod cons... microwave, dishwasher, coffee machine, DVD player, old world radio and sound system (ipod speakers), cards, books and family games await you. An internal laundry, shower and large bath, large entertainment deck with beach and lake views, outdoor dining for eight, Weber gas BBQ plus outside hot & cold shower to wash off after a swim.

Avoca's most original beach house... with your own sandy beach at the end of your front lawn to fish, swim and play.

You have your own sandy beach, you can fish off the front lawn, swim in safety and paddle or play with about every watercraft right next door. Play a game of tennis in the courts right behind the house or let the kids frolic in the surrounding park and playgrounds.

Set next to the park, play-grounds, cricket nets and skate ramp... you have just about every water craft available right next door.

  • "LOVED our stay here!!! Stayed with 4 adults, 3 children and 2 labradors and we all had an amazing time. I don't think it's possible to get a better location if you love the water. The kids and dogs loved the backyard entrance to the lake which was very warm and fantastic to cruise around on the kayaks from Aquafun next door. Just a few minutes walk on the sand to patrolled beach that is also dog friendly after hours, shops just a minute or two walk away and the house had everything we needed and a good size. Lovely to sit on the large patio enjoying a BBQ with views over the lake. THANKS David and Mike from Aquafun for a fabulous holiday we will definitely be back"

  • "We returned home today from a thoroughly enjoyable and relaxing stay at your delightful cottage in Avoca. Avoca is dog heaven! Barney LOVED your back garden and gladly greeted all passing dogs. We successfully activated his Labrador swimming gene with more games of 'fetch' than I can shake a stick at and yesterday we (yes, all 3 of us) canoed round the lagoon, watching boys using gum trees as their diving platforms - very Huckleberry Finn. There is something very relaxing about taking a step back in time. focusing on the important things while sitting on the deck listening to the birds calling to each other on a still spring evening across the lagoon. Our only disappointment was that we couldn't stay longer. "

  • "The property was fantastic. Good size and the main bedroom was furnished wonderfully and the "kids room" was a good size. Facilities were good for cooking tea makng etc. Grounds fantasic, the dog just loved it and running up to the back fence saying hello to every one. But really you just can't beat the view and the glassed in doors that allowed us to look out on a cold winter day. Great as it was close to restaurants and shops and walks on the beach."

  • "we have stayed in this beach house during the anzac day long weekend, and had really great time. the location of the house is fantastic, close to everything, i.e. beach, resturants, bottle shops etc. there are so many activities to do just at the doorstep, i.e. fishing, kayaking, tennis etc. the deck in the backyard offers million dollar view of lake, trees. sitting there is purely enjoyment and total relaxation. last but not least, as avoca beach is a pet-friendly beach, if you have pets, you will find they will have more fun than you do..."
