Experience the beachy warm and relaxed atmosphere at Nuns Beach House. The rooms have been prepared with every comfort in mind and after a swim in the main beach that is a 250m walk away you can just read a book or watch the waves roll in around Portland Bay.

The large well furnished House has a leather lounge suite, gas heating and DVD/television also offer well appointed cooking facilities.
Walk 850m to the fishing on the break water. Fishing at Portland is one of the highlights which offers the opportunity to try your luck in the surf for Mulloway, Salmon or Snapper.

Portland has full facilities to launch your large boat. Bait is available and we may be able to offer you some local knowlegde if you require it, we also love our fishing/boating.

Surfing in our region offers numerous options depending on the wind and the swell. Why not try Nuns beach, Yellow Rock or Bridgewater Bay.
Cape Bridgewater offers a fantastic day trip with highlights including the Petrified Forest, the Blow Holes, Limestone Caves and a seal colony.

Portland is Victoria's first permanent settlement with over 200 historical buildings from the 1800's.

The Great South West Walk starts and ends at Portland and covers 250 km's of extremely diverse landscape traveling through native forest, spectacular towering cliffs and majestic coastline. Just do it!
