There's wineries, cafes, restaurants, antique shopping, local art galleries & crafts, great bush walks, visit an old gold field (Jupiter Creek), museums, old buildings to admire, there's no such thing as a boring drive - the scenery is just stunning. Try a food & wine trail, or just stop at local towns for great supplies to bring back for an evening feast.

The Barn @ The Old Oak Bed & Breakfast
The Barn is fully self contained, with everything to make your stay relaxing & memorable. Lay back in the reclining lounge to watch the large screen TV, listen to music, read a book or simply watch the fire. The dining area overlooks the balcony & willow lined creek (which is just divine in summer & autumn).
Enjoy a glass of wine in the evening on the verandah to watch the birds and sometimes the cattle coming down to the dam. The kitchen has full cooking facilities including a dishwasher! Imagine lying in the spa, sun shining through the leadlight window, aromatherapy bubbles & a glass of bubbly - what a way to relax! And of course there are soft fluffy robes for after your spa.

The Shearing Quarters @ The Old Oak Bed & Breakfast
The Shearing Quarters, recently renovated B&B, now with full kitchen, wood fire, large 2 person spa, lounge area with large flat screen TV/DVD/ipod docking station. The bedroom has queen bed, luxurious Sheridan linen/towels/robes and flat screen TV.
There is small balcony with BBQ, perfect spot for a gourmet dinner hamper, or picnic plate.
You'll find the fridge well stocked with regional breakfast provisions(cooked & continental). If you're hoping to find little extras, you won't be dissappointed, chocolates (more often than not, home made rocky road, yumm), and wine from K1 wines by Geoff Hardy (yep, yumm again), are always included for your enjoyment.
