Guest Reviews

  • "It was a nice, clean and very spacious house that suited our 2 families - good balcony, and loved the extra bathrooms and toilets. Also, the location was great - close to beaches and other attractions. Made for a great first holiday in Port Macquarie."

  • "The house is in the best position directly opposite beach access with local shops within walking distance and Port Macquarie a short drive away. It was a lovely clean and very roomy home with everything you needed in the kitchen. We had 9 people(3 kids) and there was plenty of space for all. Would definately book again. "

  • "We stayed for a week. Two families in total had a great time. The house is really spacious with the upstairs living seperated from the downstairs sleeping which was great for not waking the young ones who went to sleep early. The house is really kid friendly and across the road is the beach. The area is quiet and a nice retreat from the busier parts of Port Macquarie. I would definately recommend this house to those seeking an affordable stay on the beach."

  • "We have just spent a family holiday at Sun 'n Surf and everyone had a great time. Grandparents found the ocean views so good they did not want to or need to leave the deck, teenagers could walk to a safe beach and coffee shop to get out of the house and parents had space to explore and great surroundings in which to relax. The house is well equipped and very clean - highly recommended location!"

  • "Surf n Surf offered more than we expected - the place was spotless, and well maintained. On arrival, the simple things made us feel welcome - toilet rolls for each toilet, tea, coffee & sugar supplies, milk in the fridge, a box of chocolates, abundance of information on port macquarie and things to do - these went a long way to make us feel like home. The owners sure do take pride in their property and made us feel like guests in their home rather than people who hired the place for a week. It's proximity to lighthouse beach was a bonus - cross the street from the gate of the backyard and you're on the beach. It was just far out of the hustle and bustle of Port Macquarie which was about 8km away and offered us the holiday we all needed after a stressful year. "
